Caroline's POV
Well that was not quite a shocker for me, I am kinda used to it now, he always have some work or family business to do. It's not the first time he did this, I was never a priority for Matt but that doesn't change the fact that it hurts.
I just want to talk to mom and be with her but where is she?
"Mom!! Mom!! "
I hear someone talking in the backyard so i guess she is there .
"Mom! What are you doing here. "I said
She was talking to some man hearing my voice the guy turned and it was none other than klaus.
He stood there tall, devilishly handsome with a beautifully proportioned body.
I want to think about my boyfriend, about my work, my friends but it all seems faded I just can't think anything in his presence..
Caroline!! ( He said with a pleasant smile), "What a pleasant surprise ."
"Hey Klaus." I said non interestingly
"Soo u both already know each other" (my mother asked)
"Yes mom, I met him at the grill last night. "
"Ohh ohkk well Tyler called, you are going to his party right, you have been avoiding his calls? "
"No mom I am not going to his party. Matt is working tomorrow night and I don't have a date" she said sadness visible in her face
"Well if u want I can escort you to the party, apparently I don't have a date either and my brother always liked to point out that I was a sucker for damsels in distress .." klaus said with a grin
"What!! No thanks I don't want to go."
"Caroline !! What's the problem sweetheart. Mr Mikaelson is a gentleman and he is new in the town, the party will help him to mingle and to get to know everyone. You also need a break sweetheart, you work so hard so I suggest u should definitely go ."
"But mom!" Caroline said
"No buts u should go and I am getting really late, I have a meeting with the mayor..so I'll take a leave now, it was nice meeting with you Klaus. "
"The pleasure was all mine." He said
My mother left and here I was standing with him, he was looking at me silently. His magnetic blue eyes melted my lower limbs..
"What are you doing here in my house?"
"Well I didn't know it was your home I just came here to meet the sheriff, I had some urgent business with her. "
"Ohkk !! Pick me up at 7 tomorrow" and I left without waiting for his reply.
He made me so edgy and nervous as hell, he didn't even seem to notice that moreover I didn't wanted to make a fool of myself by saying something stupid. Soo I left leaving him in the backyard.
It's almost 7 and I am all ready with the most amazing royal red carpet gown , it was navy blue with beautiful work on it, I was mesmerized when I first saw it apparently it was left at my doorstep. Yes it's a gift from Klaus, I would have never accepted it if it wasn't this gorgeous.
I made a classy bun with the bangs descend just right around my forehead. I apply eye liner and mascara, enhancing the sludge green in my eyes. My nails are all painted red. Mann I look hot.
The doorbell rang and I knew it was Klaus picking me up.
I opened the door and when I looked at him, I was starstrucked. He was wearing a black tuxedo, he looked different, he looked sexier, he looked more toxic. The set of his chin suggested a stubborn streak and his lips were firm and sensual..
"You look magnificent only if there were words to describe such a beauty " he complimented
" Thank you Klaus " I said having slight blush on my cheeks
"Shall we " he asked and forwarded his hand and I held it .
"Hey Caroline, I am so glad you came " Tyler said while hugging me, "and who is he, I've never seen him in town before. "
"Well he is Klaus Mikaelson , he is new in this town and Klaus he is Tyler Lockwood, my high school friend. Why don't you guys talk and I'll just go to the ladies room.. "
They both nodded.
And I left from there.
"Caroline" , someone shouted my name, I looked around and I saw Elena waving at me so I went towards her.
"Hey Elena u look gorgeous, where is Stefan? " I asked
"He just went to get a drink , you look stunning and who's that hotty that you came with ,isn't he the same guy you met at bar that day. "
"Yes he is Klaus, he is new in this town. "
"Looks like the new town hotty got a crush on u. "
"What!! No it's nothing like that "
"Oh really than why is he continuously staring at u so lovingly "
"What" And I looked around and saw Klaus talking with someone but his eyes were completely strucked on me .I felt goosebumps all over by body.
He walked towards me and asked me for a dance which I gladly accepted. It was a slow romantic song..
"Caroline u should really not leave me alone here, all these girls were actually throwing themselves on me, you know how difficult was it for me to save myself." He grins
"You've got quite the show to brag about. However bragging of a king and manners of a goat never really appealed to me" I yank my fingers back and turn around.
His arms around my waist halts me. His nose presses against the back of my neck and I shut my eyes involuntarily."I do not brag about the obvious and proven "he smirks
I hear my breathing in the dark, it's earsplitting and crystal clear like a loud blow to myconfidence. He gets to me and we both are aware of it..
