After making sure Ray and Major would keep quiet about their new friends. I don't know how the scientist would react, but I didn't want to risk it. I walked into my room and flopped backwards down on my bed. The thoughts flowing through my head. 'How can the scientist, who've been studying for years, not know what caused the pain? But someone he just met had the answer in a few minutes? Are they lying to me' I thought. I shook the thoughts out of my head, 'I have to trust them, they saved me and have kept me safe so far...all I know from my past is that apparently my parents abandoned me, and the scientist picked my up of the streets...but what if that wasn't true...what if they were hiding something from me..' I thought, shaking my head out of my thoughts, I sat up and put my head in my hands. "That can't be true" I mumbled.
"What can't be true" Josh asked, he had walked up to my doorway and was standing there his face full of concern.
"I'll tell you later" I said quietly.
"They are here" Josh said simply and looked towards the living room, "come on, they want to speak to all of us" he continued.
"Alright" I said standing up. I straightened my shirt, we then walked to the living room.
