After they agreed to help, Casey and Jordan went to talk to the others to get them to agree. I turned to Josh, "so, now that we have third help, what's the plan?" I asked.
"Well, I think that we'll go to the alley and see if we can find any thing." He said.
"What are you expecting to find?" I asked.
"I don't know, anything, we don't have much information" he said.
"I hate how they make us do this with very little information" I muttered.
"Well, they don't have any other information, they told us all they know" Josh said simply.
"Are you sure?" I asked.
"What?" He looked at me confused.
"Are you sure they told us everything, that they aren't hiding anything?" I asked crossing my arms.
Josh looked around then back at me, "no, but we have to trust them, we don't have much of a choice" he said quietly.
"Well, at least you see my point" I said simply.
We stayed there for a while chilling, until we decided to head back. This time we brought everyone with us. Casey, Jordan, all of them.
I went straight to my room and just plopped down on my bed, Matt followed me and sat down, cross legged, at the foot of my bed. I sighed heavily.
"So, is this mission thing, normal?" He asked me.
"Well, not exactly, I mean it's like our job, but it doesn't happen often" I said with a shrug and sat up. I reached over and got my phone off of my nightstand, I turned it on and looked at the lock screen, it was plain, with no notifications. I turned it back off and put it in my pocket.
"Do you want it to be more often?" Matthew asked.
"Not really, I mean, I enjoy it, Sure, it gives me something to do. But, it's dangerous, and we could get hurt. I don't want anyone to get hurt" I said simply, then looked at Matthew. "What do you usually do?" I asked.
"We usually just vibe, chill around the house" he said with a shrug, "not that I could go out much" he said looking at his hands, they were translucent, I could see through him, but I could still see him.
I grabbed his hands and he looked up at me, "we are all different, we each have our problems" I said looked at him sincerely.
