When the three got upstairs they quickly moved Emma's dresser in front of the door and sat on the floor in front of it. "What was that emma!? Was that the alien?" Alexis said in a panic. "Why did it look so human?" Jeremy asked. "I don't know guys, I'm scared too." They heard footsteps coming up the stairs and shot each other fear filled glances. KNOCK! KNOCK! KNOCK! The door knob rattled. "Think about it Emma, it looked human." "Okay, and, what are you implying Jeremy." They heard knocking at the door again but tried to ignore it. "The only other person within a mile was your mom. And when we came inside we ran right through the kitchen where she was supposed to be. Did any of us actually see her in the kitchen." The two girls shook there head slowly in fear. The doorknob rattled once more and then they heard a voice from the hall. "Emma honey open the door!" It was her mom. "I hate to say it Emma but Jeremy might me right. Whatever we saw had human features and not just any human features, your moms features. And none of us did actually see her when we came in which means we don't know for sure where she actually was." Alexis said. Emma stood up and instructed her friends to move the dresser. "I'm going out there, and I'm going to find out what's going on." Emma opened the door to see that her mom was gone so she walked down the stairs to find her, her friends timidly tagging along behind. "Look Emma that glow in the shed is still there." Alexis pointed out. The kids walk out to the shed with there flashlights and opened the door. At this point Emma wasn't surprised by what she saw, "What are you doing." She said to her mother that was trying to hid the alien device in the shed
