I don't know what happened but, Me and my mom heard from the news that spaceships have been landing throughout the world, we thought it was an april fools joke, until we heard a loud boom outside, and our dog barking loudly. my mom ran through the door, and when she got outside she froze on what she saw.
I asked her "What's wrong mom?", But she just stood there shaking. Worried I ran at her, my heart is beating faster and faster. Then I got outside of the house, and I saw this massive black ship, almost blending in with the stars, but still managing to illuminate, because of the glowing eye shape structure on it's front. It's also moving as if it's looking around.
While looking at it, I didn't feel any terror. All I felt was relief. My mom then grabbed me back into the house, she held me real tight with her sweaty arms. She then hugged me tight as we heard screams outside the house, we ran into my bedroom while hearing gunfire and screaming.

My eyes widened as I heard our neighbors scream for mercy. At the time, I didn't have time to process my feelings for we were moving so fast trying to go to my room. Tightly my mom held me, as she was running frantically around the house, she then opened my bedroom door and crouched near the closet.
" Shinichi I know you're confused, but you'll know soon enough why this is happening."
She said to me while tearing up. She looked me directly in the eyes and said "Mama loves you, remember that, we may not look alike but mama loves you. I'm sorry honey this happened"
She then hugged me while tears her tears fell out of her eyes. With her muffled voice she told me
"I'll be looking over you son, I'm sorry that you have to experience this."
She then put me in the closet, whispering "I Love you son" before leaving.
After a while, I heard a woman scream followed by some gunfires. My heart ached, and my breathing became in consistent. I then covered my mouth, trying to not make any sound, tears rolled while looking blankly into darkness. I then closed my eyes, thinking it's all just a dream. Screams are still echoing inside our home. I prayed, and prayed that my mom will comeback I prayed constantly until I lost consciousness.
I then woke up. hours after, back then I wished to not have nightmares anymore, but now I'm wishing all of this is just a long nightmare. I opened the closet door my body's still shaking. The window being illuminated by the ship's light and fires that's spreading throughout our neighborhood. I walked towards the window, my knees getting weaker. I peaked outside seeing, tall human like monsters, they held guns futuristic in appearance. Their head are oval while, the part where their face should be are tinted black, like it's a glass of some sort. While looking at them one looked right into me, I panicked and closed the blinds instantly. I crawled unto the floor and went to the halls, I slowly then opened the door.
As it creaked open, I saw green blood scattered on the walls. I followed the blood shaking and praying it wasn't from my mom, I walked unto the halls slowly while the floor is creaking creak. I stepped slowly, stepped carefully, my breathing's getting heavier. I walked down the stairs while neon lights are passing by the window, I walked carefully where the blood is heading to. My airways tightened while sweat is dripping down my head, I then saw the blood heading to the kitchen. Shaking, I covered my mouth. When I entered the kitchen my entire body froze, my eye widened and my knees collapsed on what I'm saw.
Green blood all over the floor, And covered by that blood is my mom, My body shooked uncontrollably, my eyes staring unto her body. Gunshots all over her chest and one at her forehead. The life my mother had, her beautiful smile that comforted me when I'm sad, all gone and now turned into a lifeless and saddened smile. Her cold and hollow eyes stared into me. I broke down
"it's all my fault, it's all my fault."
I muttered to my self over and over, tears are now flowing down my eyes. I then heard a distorted voice outside the house
"I saw a kid"
it said while rushing towards my direction.
I peaked at the halls trying to see if someone's at the door, it then creaked open neon lights went shining into my home, a silhouette of a bulky, tall, and oval shaped head creature appeared. I quickly hid in the kitchen, I covered my mouth for I my throat began to wheeze whenever I breath. creak the floor creaked as it walked very slowly around my house.
My body's getting cold, sweat, along with my red blood is now dripping down my arms. Apparently I didn't notice that my arm got scratched by the drawers in the kitchen. Creak it's footstep is getting closer. As it was walking slowly in my direction, my arms began shaking and cold sweats was produced out of my body. Panicking I grabbed a pan that's in the drawers. Creak slowly it approached the kitchen, it's shadow now eminating a worm like claw, moving around like it's searching for something.
As heard it's heavy breathing getting closer, I readied myself on what's to come, creak it's slow footsteps are getting closer.
It entered the kitchen, while not noticing me in the corner. I stood up and tackled the creature. I bashed it's head with the pan over and over again. It's tinted face cracked, and broke like glass. I then saw a human face under it, scar on it's nose, blue eyes like a young man. I hit it with the pan, until it's nose bled with red blood, I froze in that moment, confusion came all over me, this is the creature that killed my mom, but I can't seem to kill it, it's face is so human. The moment I stopped it then punched me in the face, I fell down to the ground with my nose bleeding, my vision's getting blurry and twirling, It then suddenly carried me. After that Everything went black.
I then woke up in a very dark room while on the lap of my mom. She caressed my head gently. I looked up at her, she then smiled at me. It's her beautiful and comforting smile. Seeing her again my eyes became watery, she looked at me with her loving eyes, and hugged me really tight. "I'll be looking out for you son. We may not have the same blood, but I still love you, this is just the punishment my kind has to endure for our sin." She then let go off me, and stood up. I looked up at her while she's walking away into the darkness.
I then woke up in an infirmary of sorts, I squinted my eye for the room was to bright. When my eye had finally adjusted I looked around Wondering what was happening, I tried to move but my body was so heavy.
My memories are all jumbled up, I can't even remember clearly what happened. Until I remembered my mom laying down, I quickly called for the nurses, shouting
"where's my mom? Help her she's been shot".
While I was shouting, a beautiful nurse with blue hair, came up to me with a surprised face
"I'm glad you're finally awake"
she then smiled and stood next my bed. I then looked at her and asked
"W-where are the aliens? What happened?"
She smiled at me then said
"they're all gone some were killed, and some hid themselves from us".
My tense face relaxed as she told me the news. Until a familiar face came and approached my bed. I can't remember when I saw him, but the scar on his nose ticked me off. And then at that instant I flashed back to when I was Fighting the alien, I screamed
"Get away from me murderer!" I then looked at the nurse and pointed at the man
"H-he's an alien!"
i said over and over again. While my eyes widened, and my eyes sharpened.
"WHAT'S GOING ON" I asked the nurse as she is calming me down. The man then approached me with a calm demeanour
"my name is Captain Daniels and I'm gonna explain to you everything".
He then stood next to my bed, "march 2020 exactly 50 years ago, an alien army that took the shape of a human came to earth and invaded it. We don't know what was their motive but the government told us that the aliens suddenly started attacking."
He then looked at me with a face of terror
" I wasn't born yet at the time but my uncle was one of the soldiers, my father said that he fought away the savage monsters day in and day out, until he was finally eaten. The entire earth surrendered and got forced to leave. Millions died at that time, alot of our people died. Until the human race plotted for 50 years how to get back our home, we killed millions of them all over the world, house by house we got our revenge. And that's where we found you, at the time I thought you were one of them, but you're one of us."
He said while his voice softened, as if he was happy.
"those monsters looked so human, but in their blood, in their green god damned blood they're all monsters"
he said while looking at me, with his widened happy eyes.
He left then after saying those words.
While I'm there staring into nothing, trying to process what he said, then a sense of hatered and anger bubbled up into me. "Those eyes, why are they so happy? They killed countless of families, and they felt so justified".
My heart beat faster, while a firing rage took over my body, "who are they to call others monsters?, the people who mercilessly killed millions called others monsters"
The time for me looked like it was slowing down, people started walking slowly as if they're in slow motion, while I'm staring off into nothing, flashes of what happened the day they killed mom entered my head "How can they call another creature monsters? When they're the very definition of it"
I then looked forward to where the nurses are, their faces so happy, their smiles that they don't deserve ticked me, "killing millions of innocent, to get revenge. Killing my mom for a worthless cause, and they call me one of them? They're the monsters aren't they?" I then blacked out as if I was passing out, but before that I heard a voice in my head saying
"I'll show you who's the monster".
