"My Inn! What have you done?" A man screamed and ran out of the rubble. The grey-faced man held Long Aotian's collars and screamed, "You better pay for this."
Long glanced at the man with narrowed eyes. 'He is the one who drugged us.' He pulled the man's grubby hands off of his shirt. 'If I was not there Xia could have—He could have been hurt,' his thoughts turned dark.
He glared at the grime covered man and sneered. "If you hadn't tried to harm my lover, I would not have destroyed your inn." Long lifted the man with just his one of his hand.
The innkeeper dangled in air screaming, "Please spare me. I didn't hurt anyone."
The golden dragon scoffed at his reply. "You didn't hurt anyone? Then what about kidnapping innocent people and selling them," Long gazed unflinchingly into his terrified eyes and whispered.
