Chapter 5 - 5

The sound of a horn beeping outside had caught my attention as I quickly finished my makeup. I headed to my dad's office to tell him I was off and would be back by 11pm the latest, nevertheless it was a school night. It was still a good enough time and one that we had both agreed on when I told him I was going to a party and everyone was invited. My dad didn't want to deprive me of certain things knowing I was being enclosed in the school. I absolutely hated it and I think he knew. He was also fine with it knowing Josh was going to be around and he was taking me and I would be with Caroline. I was going to be surrounded by friends, as long as he knew I was going to be safe he was okay with it. My mom on the other hand, I'm not sure if she would have agreed, she wasn't home it was just my dad and I.

"I'll let you know when I'm there and when I'm leaving" I reassured him. He nodded. "Be safe"

I walked out to see Josh in the driver's seat beaming the second he saw me, Caroline in the back. I got in and we were off

*Crystal's house*

Josh drove up and parked "Ready for your first party Laur?" I rolled my eyes "More than I'll ever be dweeb"

We got out of the car and looked at the scenery before us. The entire school was invited to my surprise everyone excepting the nerds, maybe one or two who were luckily enough to get a invite from the most popular girl that attended the Academy. As we walked up to the stairs, laughter surfaced, cups were thrown around, people were making out at every corner, at every angle. Music blasted through the night and so did cheers. Walking into the house was just 'wow'. It was insanely huge, a mansion after all. So many people occupied the space in the house, the stairs, the front door, the living room, the kitchen. In the far corner to the left of the living room was a gigantic pool table. I knew Josh was a expert it didn't take him long to join in on a game, his eyes glistening cheering the players on waiting for his chance. Me and Caroline walked over to the kitchen where we were met by Crystal

"Hey girls" she spoke with a cup in her hand. "Glad you could make it"

"Thanks for having us" I responded. "Help yourself" she said glancing at the cups "To what-ever you like, there's vodka, water" she paused "The usual" she smiled and winked "Just have fun" she pushed me lightly which I was not at all amused "Roll with it" she walked away swaying her hips. Caroline squealed turning to the cups "Sooooo" she grabbed my hand to make me pay attention "What are we having?" I was focused on Josh who appeared to be holding the cue stick about to shoot a ball before his opponent, another senior in his building but before shooting his eyes locked unto mine from across the room. He winked. Shot the ball and made a score. He raised the stick with ease and moved away from the table waiting for his opponent to make a shot.

I zoned out from what Josh had done and turned to my best friend and looked at the options before us. We were 17 "Um" I thought a bit "Water" Caroline laughed "Loosen up a bit silly" she said handing me a cup of vodka "It's your first party, our first party" she spoke holding another "We only live once, let's live a little"

"Your brother" I looked at Josh before facing Caroline. She laughed again "My brother won't do a thing" she smiled giving me a nudge "Come onnnnn" she whined "I'm sure it's not that bad"

I rolled my eyes and gave in. I knew Caroline was the party-going type and she wasn't about to let me say no so I drank the first cup. The first cup turned into another and another and another, four cups. You're probably wondering if I puked, I didn't. I liked it, although strong I liked the taste. I was fine or so I thought.

After wondering the house with Caroline we both got bored. In another corner of the room I noticed that a junior whose known for being the school's bad boy was checking her out. It didn't take long for her to make a move and head over to where he was. The pair seemed to get along just fine, giggling, talking, flirting. I glanced over at Josh again taking another Vodka in hand and drinking down the beverage. I scanned the room again. Everyone was having fun so why shouldn't I? "Let's live a little" Caroline's voice echoed in my head and believe me I did just that.

The cup was now on the counter as I made way to the dance floor. I had consumed so much alcohol by now that I had no idea what I was about to do next. Something that stunned them all.

Jason p.o.v.

I had finished a game of pool with some guys on my level. It went well. Won some, lost some. I didn't care I was just having fun. After the game, I walked out back to the pool with a drink, only one because I was driving. I had thought about jumping in the water but refrained from doing so and instead engaged in conversation with a hot chick from the girls side. Let me tell you a hot make out sesh wasn't bad, it wasn't terrible, neither was it good, it was alright apart from the other girls I've kissed.

I walked back into the living room and noticed someone on the pool table in lingerie. Someone familiar.

"What the fuck Laur"
