"Happy belated birthday", Ryan said while handing a chocolate bucket and an old grey box with white ribbon.
I found a peach scarf inside and a card with a lovely note.
I WISH YOU THE HAPPIEST LIFE,
MAY ALLAH ALWAYS GRANTS YOU WITH ALL HAPPINESS.
I left them in my room, then looking for him in the dining room. He was on sofas reading the magazine.
As planned, we went out together visiting several iconic locations which offer the beauty of Kuala Lumpur's night.
After exploring several places according to his references, we ended up at a western restaurant.
The offered main menus weren't appetizing. Actually, it wasn't about menus, but I wasn't in the mood for eating western foods. So, I only ordered dessert, ice cream and cheese cake. And, he also ordered the same ones.
"Bang, You told me that you're hungry, aren't you?", I asked.
"Why you only order desserts?", I continue.
"Right now, I'm just trying to copy your taste", he answered.
"Um, copy as much as you can", I answered with a laugh.
The dessert we ordered had disappeared from its place. Before leaving the café, I went to the lavatory. Then, approached him again who was still waiting at the same table. We left the café after that.
"Hungry", we said when we had already at home.
The first thing we did was heading to the dining room hunting for dinner.
"If I'm not mistaken, both of you said wanna have dinner at a restaurant, aren't you?", Auntie Lusi said.
"The food's unappetizing, it's not delicious" I said by imitating Malay accent.
"Amboi, Ara, you've only been here a day, but already sounds like a Malay", she teased me the same way before left.
She returned to the living room to accompany Uncle Sofyan watching TV. Meanwhile, we devoured our foods with enthusiasm. After dinner, we rested in the living room for a while to greet them.
"Ara'd put much care on your health. It's already late, you'd have a nice rest", Aunty Lusi said.
"Don't sleep after dinner, it's not good for your health", Ryan argued.
"Let me just sleep tonight," I replied, then left them.
They just smiled, while Ryan was still grumbling like a doctor scolding a patient.
I listened to Ryan's advice, but obeying is a different case. Right after Aunty Lusi told me, I left them whom still in the living room.

I lay down with various thoughts and drowsiness. Huff, I took much oxygen in the air and exhaled a deep breath.
Pulling up the blanket, then turning the lamp off by clapping hands twice. Instantly, I was amazed by the ceiling decoration that resembled a night sky with thousands of stars.
A moment later, I received a message from Ryan nestling in my inbox.
"Turn lights off when you sleep", he wrote.
"Done", I replied.
