Early in the morning Lianna had to go to high school, her first day at a high school as a sophomore with boys and girls, but she was extra excited for this school cause her friend Beck goes here so at least she will have someone to talk to so shes not too nervous. But for the other guys here, she didn't really know hoe to act, sure shes friends with Beck but their just friends and nothing more. Rose would will not be going there since she goes to the catholic school for girls that Lianna used to go to.
She headed to her first class with a big smile on her face as she walked through the door to her first period class which is chemistry, and who she saw made her heart jump and not in a good way, Nick..thats right Nick was in her chemistry class but why is h here, why didn't Beck or Rose say that he was going here? She had no other choice than to sit down in her assigned seat, it in the very back on the left by the green chalkboard that still had chalk dust still on it. Lianna could smell it as the dust tickled her nose and she started sneezing. She wondered if this will be a problem but hoped that it wouldn't.
She decided to just ignore the fact that Nick was here, she dosent know for sure but theres something weird, like how he acted towards her at the cafe, unless he was just joking around. This caused major confusion in Liannas head, but she couldn't worry about that right now she needed to focus on her studies and take notes.
"alright class since this is the first day of school I think its best that we all get to know one another before we get to work." " Today if you guys didnt know we have a new student so I think its best if we let her go first"
"um.. hi my name is Lianna Mclaren"
"..wait Mclaren? As in the Adam/Mclaren and Co.? Your his daughter?"
"y...ya, I am but any way...um my name is Lianna and I used to go to a all girls catholic high school, I danced when I was four until I was ten and Im thinking about going into gymnastics during the fall"
"very cool Lianna, do you have any siblings?"
"no Im an only child"
"alright, thats cool, anyone else want to go?''
"uh ya, hi everyone im Nick, as you may know im dating Rose and what you dont know is that Lianna over here is my girlfriends best friend" as Nick said that sentence he turned toward Lianna, and he did it again, he winked at her, only she thinks she understands why know. He's just joking with her and playing around.
After the class was over Nick ran over to Lianna,
"hay sorry if I embarrassed you back there"
"no, no its ok you were just being friendly"
"of course but I was wondering if you would like to meet up for coffee after school?"
"why do you want to have coffee with me?"
"its just that we didn't really get to know each other as I hoped we would"
"Ya ok we could meet up after school"
"cool, catch ya later"
Nick turned the other way to get to his next class while Lianna took a left to get her world languages class, she decided to take french this year, her old high school only offered Spanish so she was excited to take this class. As she struggeld to find her class she saw a familiar face walking down the hallway.
"Beck!"
"hay Lianna how did your first class go?"
"It went great, but do you know were my next class is?"
"oh your taking french? Here come with me im taking Spanish so the french class is two doors down from my room"
"alright, lead the way"
Each class is 80 minutes so she only had four periods each day and they would alternate so today is a red day which means she has Honors Chemistry, French Class, History, and AP literature.
After class she skipped down the cold blue stairs and out the door, she quickly got in her car to meet up with Nick, she could only stay for a while cause dinner was gonna be ready soon.
"hayyy, sorry if Im a little late I had to tell my father were I was going to be."
"thats cool, so how was school today?"
"oh it was great I met so many people, how was your day?"
"it was fine after you go to this school for a year you kinda get bored of it"
"ok..well..um why did you want to meet again?"
"just you know to talk, you look very nice today"
"thanks? so do you"
"hows life going at home?"
"its good, its not like moneys tight though or anything"
"right, is it true that your father is a CEO?"
"yep"
"cool"
the conversation didn't last long when Liannas father called her to hurry home immediately. When she got there she saw a man on the other end of the dinner table with her dad sitting across from him on the other end. Lianna went up stairs to get changed out of her uniform and hurried back downstairs for dinner.
"what the hell are you wearing?"
"I thought."
"go upstairs and change right now we have a guest"
"alright father"
Lianna was wearing a pink cami and changed into her pink woolen sweater that fit tight around her body, then she changed from wearing black silk bottoms to black jean shorts and hurried downstairs.
"sorry father I didn't know we had such an important guest"
"was that sass I hear coming from you?''
"No"
There was a moment of silence
"um.. so whats his name?" Lianna asked
"you do not need to know his name dear, its not important to you"
"then why do I need to be here?"
"because your my daughter and I want you too"
" this man is the senators son"
"why is the senators son here and not his father?"
"good question well you see my father is a very busy man so sometimes he will ask me to go to his meetings"
"oh so how old are you?" Lianna asked
"your not dating him your only sixteen" Liannas dad replied
"I am nineteen" the stranger decided to say anyway in a deep tone
"I am so sorry for my daughter, you know she really need to be here I can ask her to leave"
"no its no problem is she wants to stay"
"Lianna? Go upstairs and to your room"
"but dad he said I can stay"
"now Lianna"
Lianna got up out of her chair and went to her room, on her way there she felt the mans cold hands brush up against her warm and clammy hand. While she walked passed him she got a whiff of his strong yet familiar scent, it filled her with joy but shyness at the same time. She started to walk faster toward the long stairs as she felt her cheeks begin to blush.
