✪𝒅𝒐𝒖𝒈𝒉𝒏𝒖𝒕𝒔✪
a sigh escaped his lips showing that he was bored. his body was sprawled out on his bed with his eyes looking out the glass sliding door. it was only midday yet he wanted the day to be over.
ever since steven had his little blow-up (quite literally) and nearly endangered pearl and volleyball, he's been trying to get his mind off of anything that pertains to the gems or his mom.
which actually wasn't going very well.
1.because he is a gem himself.
2.everywhere he looked there was nothing but gems
3.well, because it wasn't his day.
he wanted-no needed something to distract him from everything.and that's exactly what he's planning to do.
getting up, the hybrid boy put on his salmon flip-flops that matched his everyday outfit- a bubblegum varsity jacket with a blue shirt that had a star in the middle underneath the jacket. he also wore blue jeans.
opening the glass door, he took a step out onto his balcony and made a deep breath. he could smell the salty sea air from his nostrils which actually calmed him a bit.
'this is nice..'
"yo, steven!"
steven turned around to see a short purple figure with a amethyst gem on her chest. she had long light purple hair and big lips that was forming a grin. "amethyst." steven greeted.
"im going to the big donut. wanna come?" amethyst asked.
steven rubbed the back of his neck in a shy manner. "not exactly what i had in mind, but sure." it was better than nothing he supposed.

"so, like, do you have any plans in the future?" amethyst asked while stuffing her face with donuts.
steven shrugged his shoulders and took a small bite out of his donut.
amethyst paused and looked at the boy with her eyebrows raised in worried. "you okay dude?"
he sighed in response and nodded. there was no point in saying anything in attempt that amethyst will get the others involved. "too much sugar in the donut i guess." he lied "you can have it."
the said gem just 'eh' in response and took his donut. she thought maybe he was going through a phase. it was his lost either way.
steven stood up and tucked his hands inside the jackets pockets. "im going on a walk. need to think some stuff over for little homeschool." amethyst didn't think much of it and just shrugged.
