if there was one word to describe y/n's life, it would be the word 'depressing'.
it wasn't to where she felt like killing herself, it was more of just-leave-me-alone-and-im-fine type of deal.
she had decent grades, but was more of a wallflower. very quiet, so it was quite easy to forget she was even there and she always had bags under her eyes due to the amount of sleep she got daily. her mid-length burgundy/purple curly hair always seemed unkept due to her never properly combing it, because she had no particular reason on why to look nice. and when she did, it was only ever because her mom threatened to cut her hair. but despite her appearance, that wasn't the reason why she was the way she was. of course if you watched heathers you would know that. if you really got to know her, you would see a stressed out bored tired teen who desperately need reassurance and affection every 5 minutes. kind of reminds me of a certain half-gem person-
you see, growing up, y/n wasn't really raised around her parents per say, only to be taught the basics and common sense of life. and it really wasn't her or her parents fault. her mom has fallen really ill, so seeing the older female look relaxed was a rare sight. and her dad was an workaholic; finding his own way to cope with his wretched life, leaving y/n on her own with a distaste for socializing.
but enough about that, let's get on to the present.
"..make sure you take the dog out y/n." a soft fragile voice entered the dimly lit room that was being provided from the multicolored star lights up in the ceiling.
'i will. just give me a second.' the girl thought tiredly, but only nodded her head in reality knowing her mom most likely wouldn't see it.
her mom quickly left after saying a quick 'thank you' making the said girl roll slowly out of her bed and on to the cold hardwood floor.
after a few minutes of laying there, she finally changed into some workout shoes and leggings with a hoodie that said 'anti-social club' on the front in gold letters.
soon she was out of her house and sitting at the beach watching the sunset with her dog, daisy.
y/n sighed and looked towards her furry companion. "sometimes i wish i was a seagull you know?" she said quietly.
there was a small bark and a huff in return as if to say 'that was dumb.'
"you're right. seagulls are annoying and they poop too much."
daisy whimpered.
y/n started patting the dog's head. "hmm?" she hummed softly only to get a low growl in response. "what is it girl?"
daisy got up and started walking towards a giant rock and sniffed it.
"hello? is anyone there?" y/n called out blandly only to get silence in response.
daisy made her way back over to the tired human and yawned. y/n snorted. "..must be tired. come on."
the two females both then started to walk off the beach not knowing that a pair of eyes- or should I say eye was watching them the whole time.
"now we just have to get 'my dad'"
