Chapter 7 - #6.5. Bistro, Part 2

After informing TheBlazin 469 about the time and location, they had sent money to me considering what they asked me to buy for the meeting was costly.

Temazepam. Sleeping pills. 20 tablets of it. Some rope, a cleaver. Pepper. Salt. Garlic. Wine.

There was more in the list, but I'm going to leave it at that.

The day came, it was getting dark and I had with me a backpack filled with the items I bought, and much to my annoyance, it started to rain. I went inside the bistro and took a seat. Joni had cleared the restaurant of the employees and himself, and pretty much I had the place to myself.

Looking at my watch, I waited for TheBlazin469. I raised my head at the sound of the door opening, and I saw a man approaching my table.

"It's you." he said. That voice. I looked up to see his face. My eyes widened.

"You're the guy that ate steak alone a few weeks ago." He said, before the door opened to reveal a woman. It was the one that accompanied him here a few weeks as well.

"Oh." She said. "Sir."

I was confused, and I had the three of us sat at a table. I gave them my name. And they gave me theirs: Banu and Siska respectively.

"We are dating, but we've been somewhat opened recently." Siska explained. "I already knew about his fetish for cannibalism for a while, and strangely, just by his descriptions, I couldn't but help but feel turned on just by picturing it."

"What made you two open?" I asked.

"My parents." Siska explained. "I appreciated what my dad had done for me but sometimes he's over his head. 'Get good grades' she said. 'Be mature' he said, 'friends come and go' he once said when I got into a fight with my best friend in high school. When I defied him he threatened me with violence, broke a window then threatened me with a shard just to make myself clear. My father is also the reason I'm with Banu here, but not in a good way."

"You were forced?"

She nodded as Banu took his turn to speak.

"Siska is a lovely woman, but we both know it's impossible to love each other if a certain somebody is expecting us to love each other. Her father was...exaggerating, told me I was more of a man than the boys she met back when we were in our high school years, and even wished she met me instead. We've been living in a small apartment together the last few months, working small time jobs at a local restaurant. We both managed orders."

"What made got you into cannibalism?" I asked.

"To relief pain. Sounds extreme I know, but I find it more...suitable than what the world has to offer. Growing up, my younger brother was the one with more attention from both of my parents. Every achievement I got was considered as small time compared to what he's done. My parents barely treated me compared to my brother. Did I hate my brother? Of course not, he didn't ask for this. My parents were wrong, so wrong. My father even hit me one time when I called him out for being ignorant, so don't be surprised if I moved out to my friend's apartment. I resorted to watching cannibalism on the internet."

"DarkDoor.tor?" I interrupted.

"Yeah. I assume you used it too?"

"My neighbor installed it, said to use it to go to interesting places. He wasn't wrong."

"The internet is the best place to relieve pain from the way I see it. Right Siska."

She nodded. "I've only seen one cannibal video. Revolting? Yes. But I got to relief the bad stuff somehow."

"Yet you two seem like a happy couple." I said.

"You might hear this from a cheesy movie, but looks aren't what they seem. Example, picture a healthy robust dog. It may look friendly, but it can bite at you hard. Same goes for people, who they are doesn't always reflect on how they look." Then he shifted. "So, what about you Armin. What brings you at this point."

It felt weird at first, telling my life story to a couple I had just began to know, but Banu did ask me, so the best I could do was to tell it anyway. As I told them of my parents and how I went on with my life involving them, the couple in front of me listened. They paid attention to every single detail I mentioned, especially my life lacking of social interaction, something that has long been abandoned ever since I moved to Bogor with my mother.

They pitied me, just like how I would pity them for the things they've been through.

"So, you're ready for this?" Banu asked me as I looked at him, then Siska. "She's in this too."

"Is this what you want?" I asked Siska. She gave a crooked grin.

"I'd rather be consumed than to live another day with my parents. Well, they are in my life at least, but the damage's been done. Also, like I said earlier, I can't help but feel the excitement like Banu. You'd be doing us a favor as well Armin"

I raised my eyebrow.

"By consuming us, you would be stronger, be able to move on just like how you told us you wanted to after your father left you and your mother passing away. For us, well, we'll still be together, even in death."

I pulled up the bag filled with the items Banu had told me to buy from his message at Butcher's Bistro. I'd still have an hour and a half before the restaurant would normally close.

We made our way to the kitchen, where we had ourselves locked in and strangely enough, there was a small bed at the corner. There was also a freezer as well. Down were the sleeping pills into Banu and Siska's throats, before chugging it down glasses of wine. Both of them had wanted me to cut their flesh, but not as a whole. No, they wanted a taste of it.

Banu was unconscious first, but he insisted that his mouth be banded with the thick rope I bought from the hardware store. From the household appliances section of supermarket, not only was there a cleaver and silverware, but I also bought a bone saw

I placed a large transparent sheet on the floor, before I got a wide table from the dining hall, then I laid Banu himself. The table was slightly short as his feet were hanging, but it was enough. I Banu's arm went off first, and he was screaming in pain until my ear drums were buzzing.

Correction. His mouth formed a smile. It wasn't screams of pain after all.

His leg, several of his fingers and toes came next tot he saw, he wanted me to cook them straight away, so I did as he asked: the pieces were placed on a hot pan, slowly crisping away after making contact with a small pint of oil, and then came the salt, pepper, onions, and some oregano. The stove was on high heat, and half an hour letter, Banu was feeling weary, his eyes were barely opening. I had put his flesh on the plates the bistro had stocked in the cupboards, and using silverware, my teeth chewed on it, the juicy blood slowly covering my tongue and throat, and the surface of his flesh combined with the onions blew my eyes open. My head felt like it was banging especially when I gobbled down some water.

Siska did not want to be in a position where Banu's death occurred for her eyes, so she told me. "Do it, and quickly. I want to catch up to him."

Wish granted. What I did to Banu, I did the same to her.

At this point, I my stomach was full, and the couple's blood was all over my mouth and it painted the upper half of my shirt. I slowly walked out, a bottle of water in hand, and looking at the mess of a cooking I made. I went back and noticed the remainder of their bodies, and whatever was messy inside. Didn't take me long to use a big pan, fill it with water, and just spray away all of the blood, before Banu's shirt to wipe it off. Whatever was left of them, I put in a freezer, before stacking the bistro's frozen food stock on top of them.

I felt alive. My watch showed that it was nearly closing time, and I looked through the curtain windows. Not a single soul outside, but even I know there will be a day where the truth will come out.

Even if that day arrives however, Banu and Siska, my newfound friends, they'll always be with me until I leave this earth.
