"Don't sound too surprised, we're talking about The Parks here... They have A Ballroom." He laughed as he pushed the large wooden doors open to reveal a wide and gallant space. There were three glass chandeliers, large bay windows on every wall, and a grand piano was perched in the corner of the capacious room. Eiichi spun me, "Wait here, I need to make a request" he squealed, then in an excited frenzy, he disappeared out the door.
I stood awkwardly in the vast room. Sakura and Mei were fiddling with the piano, and the little girls were practicing a curtsey with Mrs. Park, who winked at me when she saw me staring. Park Daisuke was somewhere in the corner entertaining a conversation with Ha-Eun. How could he even stand her? She wasn't even that pretty, with her perfectly-stupid bob hair cut and elegant-ish dress. Park Daisuke's eyes caught mine, and I realized I was staring, so I looked at the floor in front of me.
