"That was an absolute disaster..." Eiichi whispered in my ear. I turned to see him grinning like a fool.
"Weren't you asleep?"
"I woke up during the best parts." He smiled, then patted my head. "Thanks for standing up for Daisuke." This guy made me stand up for his best friend; he should have been the one telling them off. Not me!
"I didn't d-do it for him." I rubbed my forearm. Something about the entire ordeal set me off. Besides Park Daisuke's family were a bunch of vultures. I could now see why he didn't want to return home.
