(In Ragnarock's hideout, Azura sits in her personal throne as Tana, Athena, Rei and Owen all approaches her after successfully retrieving four out of the five pieces of the artifact that Mikael requested.)
Azura: Seeing that you all arrived at the same time, I assume everything went as according as planned.
Tana: They did sister. The gauntlets that Galan provided us with made the job even easier than it would've been.
Azura: And where are the pieces of the artifact?
(Azura opens up her hand and Tana gives her a small back box with the pieces already in place.)
Rei: If I had to guess, together with the last piece, it will form a sort of cube.
Azura: Yes my thoughts exactly.
Athena: Do you have any idea of what kind of cube it will be exactly?
Owen: Surely one of great power.
Tana: Well obviously. No one would go out of their way to target the Grand Cities for something of little importance.
Azura: That is enough. Me and Vincent will go and collect the last piece. After that, before I hand the cube over, I will find out just what it is capable of.
Tana: I think you should keep it. If it is an all-powerful artifact, then using it against Mikael should guarantee victory.
Azura: I said that is enough, Tana. One of you go and tell Vincent to get ready.
(Just as Azura says this, Vincent enters the room behind Tana and the others.)
Vincent: I'm already ready.
Azura: Good. Athena, if you would?
Athena: Yes.
(As Athena says this, she teleports both Azura and Vincent to The Grand City of Onfroy. Back in Dante's cell, he sits on the stone bench behind as he crosses his legs, closes his eyes and begins to meditate. As he is meditating, he begins to feel himself slip pass his consciousness and into his own subconscious. While in this state, he begins to drift deeper and deeper, falling in an endless darkness. While this happens, Karasu speaks to him, guiding him through. Within the palace, however, Mori enters the throne room to inform both Kate and Mason of just what transpired last night.)
Mori: My apologies, I do not mean to enter abruptly and unannounced, but I felt as if I should inform you both that four of the five Grand Cities were attacked last night.
Kate: What?!? Which cities were hit?
Mori: The Grand Cities of Xavier, Alexandria, Jericho, and Landon were attacked.
Mason: Any word as to who the attackers were?
Kate: It was Ragnarock.
Mori: You're correct your majesty.
Mason: How do you know that?
Kate: Dante told me that Ragnarock is aligned with Mikael. If they are on the move then what Dante said must be true. Mikael will be making his way here sooner rather than later. I should go and prepare our defenses.
Mason: Wait a second, my love. What of the other Grand City? Surely Ragnarock won't just stop at four.
Kate: You're right. Tell Stephen to make his way there now. Give him this. (She takes off her bracelet and hands it to Mason.) My bracelet will allow him to teleport there. You should go with him, Mori.
Mori: Yes of course.
(As Mori says this, Kate leaves and heads towards the Crystal Tower that is located at the center of the entire kingdom. While she does this, Mason approaches Mori.)
Mason: Go and protect the Grand City. We cannot afford to lose them.
Mori: Yes sir.
Mason: And if you get the chance, I want you to take that artifact and bring it here to me. They already have four of the five pieces.
Mori: Just what is the artifact? Do you know what it is?
Mason: Separately it's just five shards that possess immense power, but together they form what is called the Perfect Cube. This cube can harness the power from any dimension, but it becomes it's most powerful when utilizing the energy from the Astral Plane.
Mori: What? Surely you're joking?
Mason: I am not. The cube can be used in three ways: Creation, Destruction, and Knowledge. And given our new threat, who knows just how he intends to use it.
Mori: Can anyone wield it?
Mason: It's hard to say. Legends say that you must possess a certain amount of strength and willpower to use it at it's fullest.
Mori: I understand. I will be on my way.
Mason: Best of luck out there, Mori.
Mori: No need for luck, my lord. You know I will not fail you. Ragnarock will not have the final piece.
(As Mori says this, he leaves in search of Stephen. Picking back up with Dante, he still locked in an intense focus as he tries to find his way out of the darkness of his subconscious.)
Karasu: You must keep your focus, Dante. One slip up and you may wake up or worst you may be trapped here leaving your body in a coma-like state.
(As Dante tries his hardest to maintain absolute focus, a ripple appears and begins to breaks through the wall of darkness. As the wall starts to crack, several voices can be heard, all calling for the worst for Dante.)
Karasu: (This isn't good. I knew that the chaos within him was strong, but I didn't expect it to be able to break through his consciousness and into his subconsciousness.) Do not worry about the voices, Dante. They are just trying to break your concentration. Just keep your focus and I'll deal with this intrusion.
(As Karasu says this, he forces the chaos back behind the wall of Dante's mind, allowing Dante to continue on as he tries to traverse his own subconscious. Over in The Grand City of Onfroy, Azura and Vincent appears at the front gates of the city. Immediately they are greeted by the city's forces.)
Squadron Leader: Stop where you are! We have heard of what your group of bandits and thieves have done to the other Grand Cities. You will not do the same here!
Azura: I'm afraid you've been quite mistaken. The other cities were all knocked out with a poisonous mist, but I do agree with what you just said. The same thing won't be occurring here. I want blood and I will get it.
Squadron Leader: If its blood you want, then its blood you will get! We will be sure to cover this field in both of your blood for what you've done! My fellow Paratroopers, attack!!!
(As the squadron of Paratroopers all charge towards Azura and Vincent, Azura takes a few steps forward, puts her hand out in front of her and says "Stop where you are." Suddenly every single person in front of her stops in their tracks.)
Azura: Good. You there...The leader. Get o your knees.
(And just as she says the squadron leader gets on his knees.)
Squadron Leader: Just.....Just how are you doing this?!?
Azura: Silence. I don't remember telling you to speak.
Vincent: (Incredible....I knew she was physically strong, but this? I had no idea.)
Azura: Now then, I want all of you to kill him with a hundred cuts and then I want you all to kill each other. The last one standing gets to themselves. Enjoy.
(As Azura says this, she and Vincent simply walks by as the entire squadron cuts up the leader then proceeds to kill one another. As this was happening, on the roof of her home, Kura sees what Azura just did to the entire squadron with just her mind and words.)
Kura: So this is who Rei calls his leader. A woman with no morals and has the power of compulsion. And not to mention her physical strengths alongside her other follower as well. Taking them both on will require all of my strength, but I am prepared.
(Just as Kura says this, she looks far towards the east and notices that both Stephen and Mori are on their way.)
Kura: Mmm...It would seem the Lockheart Kingdom's hero and prince will be making an appearance here. That eases my mind a little. I just hope that they will get here fast enough.
(As Kura says this, she moves towards the sacred treasury where she awaits Azura and Vincent. Back within Dante's mind, moments pass as a speck of light appears above him. As he makes his way higher and higher, he begins to hear a voice call out his name. As he gets closer to the light, the voice gets louder and louder which causes Karasu to tell him not to open his eyes as the chaos starts to force it's way back. Then all of a sudden, Dante opens his eyes as he is inches away from the light only to see that speck of light suddenly turns into a deep red, then a large hand comes out of that light grabs Dante which in turn causes him to lose focus and awake. Upon regaining consciousness, he takes deep breaths and wipes the sweat off of his forehead as reaching and maintaining that level of concentration took a lot out of him. He then later realizes that it was one of the guards calling his name informing him that it's time to eat as the guard tosses a red apple to him.)
Guard: An apple just as you requested.
(Still slightly out of it, Dante answers.)
Dante: Are you blind? I said green apples, not red.
Guard: Enjoy your snack. Dinner will arrive at the usual time.
(As the guard leaves, Dante grabs the apple and at first, just looks at it, but then he drops it and steps on it.)
Dante: Dammit! Just how can I hope of utilizing my mind in preparation if I can't think with these incessant voices in my head!!! There must be a way I can silence them...There must be.
(Just as Dante says this, the voices start up again and begins to hold his head as tries to fend off the chaotic voices. Back over in Onfroy, Azura and Vincent approaches the treasury only to see Kura standing in their way.)
Azura: May I suggest returning to your home? I just send your town's forces to their deaths and I would so hate to send you to yours as well.
Kura: You can try, but your powers of compulsion won't work on me I'm afraid. You're going to have to go through me if you can.
Azura: Oh? Is that a challenge?
Kura: Take it how you like. You won't be getting passed me.
(Upon hearing this, a yellow flash glares from Azura's eyes. Just as Azura is about to approach Kura, Vincent stops her.)
Vincent: Let me take her. I've been dying to get my hands dirty.
Azura: Very well then. She's all yours, Vincent. If I sense you're losing then I will join the fray.
Kura: Instead of that, why don't you both came at me at once? That way I can deal with you both.
Azura: Well now that's what I like to hear. Let's not waste any more time, I'm going to make you regret your decision.
Kura: You sure do talk a lot, Azura.
Azura: You know who I am?
Kura: Of course I know who you are. You are the peerless leader of Ragnarock...And the gentleman next to you is Vincent. You recruited him a few weeks ago.
Azura: Interesting that you know this, but knowing who I am and what I do won't save you from the beating you're about to endure.
