"Achara!"
I look around and saw my bestfriend Jennie waving her hand at me.
"O hi Jennie." I smiled at her. She put her arm on my shoulder.
"Oh look, I just have a new friend on facebook!" She hand me her phone. Oh poor guy. Another victim of my stalker bestfriend.
"Your long time waiting for him is not wasted eh?" She pout at me.
"Achara Venn!! Just support me in this!" I just laughed at her.
A typical morning for us. We're both studying in the same University. Both same course, that's why we flocked together. We meet in this University.
We continued to walk and look for our own classroom. This is our first day as a fourth year college.
"Oh there it is." I point the classroom with number 0145. This is the good thing being the senior college student. You don't have to separate with your batchmate. You're all in the same block making all of you being together for the whole semester. You're already close to each other.
We went inside and saw the same faces of our colleagues. It's not that bad and still thankful because we don't have any introduction for the starting of the classes.
We seat at the last column first row. I always seat with Jennie in every corner of the classroom. I'm comfortable here plus you'll see all of your classmates. No hassle and we can always have a sight seeing if we're bored. I mean the window.
"Chara there's a new student." Jennie point our opposite and saw a guy. Strange but I feel chills on my back, he's familiar..
"He's so handsome!!" Jennie giggle. I just roll my eyes. She's always been like that. This is not the first time to witness her kinky side. She has crushes all over the University.
I look at the new guy for the second time and saw him looking at me too. He has a very black hair effortlessly lies down on his forehead. It's shinny! He has pale skin but smooth red lips. What a perfect combination. He's wearing black polo shirt and gray pants paired with black shoes.
Our eyes locked together for a few seconds. I must be hallucinating, but I saw his eyes. It's sad.. I feel like he has been through a lot.
I just brush my thoughts away. Your overthingking again Achara!
The class starts and went through. The new guy introduced as Brylle Hummer. I didn't pay attention to him because I don't feel good when I think of he's emotionless eyes.
The class dismissed. All of our classes was just an introduction for the syllabus of our topic for the whole semester.
"Yes! I've been bored for the last 2 subjects. At last we can go home!" my bestfriend said. I must agree.
We're walking when suddenly Jennie stopped as if remembering something. "Best day to visit the ner resort nearby!"
"Oh no. Don't tell me we are going. " I shake my head.
"But I know a shortcut to be there in a few!" she said excitedly.
I heard too about this resort. It's a newly open resort in the area.
"Chara let's go. It's beautiful there. The scenery is magnificent! You'll love it!" I cannot say no actually because my bestfriend already dragging me to the way.
"Hey. Hey! What's with this shortcut? It's creepy!" The shortcut she's talking about creeps me out. It's a dark way. In between a very creepy buildings. This place is hunted!
"No this is the best way. We will directly be there if we follow this way according to my research." she may be look like nuts but she's good at research. A total nerd when it comes to things like this. I didn't argue with her. I trust her.
"Okay but let me hold you" she smile at me widely. So much for this day. I don't want to argue with anyone.
As we walk inside of this hallway look-like, it's getting darker. My hairs on my arms are starting to stand up.
"Make sure we'll make our way, out of this creepy place Jennie." She just smile at me.
It's dark, I can't see anything. It's already 6pm. I tried to get my phone to light up the way. Why Jennie won't use her phone to see the way clearly? And what's with this place? It's like we entered a different dimension. Nah so much thoughts again.
Suddenly I heard something in our back. It's like a running footsteps towards us.
"Jennie..." I called her. My heart is starting to beat fast as the foot steps getting nearer.
Jennie looks at me too. She's scared too. I feel her hand getting tighter while holding mine.
We are bestfriend, we know a lot about ourselves. A few moments of our eyes being locked. I already get what she's thinking. I know any moment now. Were gonna run!
Then I hear her shout.
"Run!!"
We run together very fast but no matter how we grip each other hand. No matter how firm my hand is. We separated to each other. It was like something pulled me from her. Making me rolled the other way, opposite with her. I feel tiredness all over my body and I can't the pain in my body anymore to open my eyes.
"Jennie..." I want to reach out my bestfriend. I can't see her anymore.
I want to sleep. Then everything went black.
I feel a smooth thing touch my lips. Is this a fairytale? Where your prince will try to wake you up from a deep sleep? I tried to open my eyes. The light is blinding. I slowly open my eyes. But I was startled when I saw a man infront of my face! I tried to get up but my forehead knocked on his!
"Ouch!" we said in unison.
I was about to shout when he suddenly put his palm on my lips. Making me shut up.
"Mmmm.." I tried to talk but no avail.
"What's wrong Milady?"
Milady??!!
