About an hour had passed, Emily was about to go to the cafeteria to get a quick snack before the last class but on the way, she could see Rebecca from a distance grabbing her stuff from the locker and closed it as she walked away.
'That girl deserved it,' Emily thought to herself, 'But then again, I wonder what made her so obsessed with my brooch,'
She was about to walk towards Rebecca but trailed to halt and decided not to and went straight to the cafeteria. By the time she went up to the counter, the lunch lady saw her.
"Shouldn't you be in a class by now?" she asked,
"Yeah, but I kinda skipped a meal earlier." Emily explained, "How much is that bag of chips over there?"
"Oh, the big one's around $12 and the small one's at $9." The lunch lady said,
Emily took out her wallet and noticed that she only has $8 and a nickel. To her dismay, she looked up and said, "Got anything that's around $8 or less?"
"Hmm… I got a small pack of gummy worms at $4." The lunch lady replied,
"I'll take it," Emily said as she placed her $8 near the counter. The lunch lady took it, gave Emily the pack of gummy worms and a change of $4.
"Thanks!" Emily said and left the cafeteria,
When she was in the hallways and a walking distance before her classroom, Emily saw Rebecca talking to a guy from afar. Based on how they reacted and the way they talk, it doesn't look too good. Suddenly, Emily's eyes began to glow red and she could hear what they're saying.
"I don't think this is working out." the guy said,
"Wait. What do you mean?" Rebecca wondered,
"The way you acted is so despicable to the point that I don't want to be involved in your problems" the guy explained, "Unless you change your attitude, we're done."
"But, babe," Rebecca pleaded,
"I don't want you to talk to me, chat me in social media, or tag me in your posts." The guy continued, "And good luck finding someone who'll love you."
He was about to leave until Rebecca grabbed his hand and pleaded to him to stay but the guy just shook her hand off him and walked off leaving Rebecca down to her knees and crying.
On the other hand, Emily's eyes stopped glowing as she couldn't believe that she had that ability but at the same time feel a bit sad about what happened to Rebecca. Emily just went inside her classroom.
Another hour had passed, students are going out of the school building and Emily was grabbing her backpack from her locker and she waited for a while for Rebecca to show up. Until Sarah saw her and walked up to her.
"What are you doing here?" she asked, "Shouldn't you be going home by now?"
"I, uh, was just getting my stuff out of the locker," Emily replied,
"Oh. Okay." Sarah said, "I might have to leave now. See you next week?"
"Sure thing," Emily said,
As Sarah left the building, Emily looked around but could not see Rebecca anywhere.
'I guess she went home,' she thought to herself. Then she shrugged her shoulders and walked out of the school building. But before she was about to walk towards her bike, Emily trailed to a halt and felt something was about to happen.
And she couldn't have been more right. A split second before she could react, Emily did a backflip when a giant beast came crashing down in front of her. CRASH!!
Emily landed on her feet and as the smoke cleared, she saw a large human-like upper body attached to a long purple snake tail from the waist down.
"That was my bike you punk!" Emily shouted,
"Sssssss-So what? Does-ssss it look like I care?" The humanoid snake hissed, "And you're gonna pay for ruining my life!"
"I have no idea what you're talking about," Emily commented,
The humanoid snake hissed and charged straight at Emily but she quickly jumped to her side and made a run for it. The beast then tried to follow her however, Emily was nowhere to be seen.
The beast then slithered around the building hoping to find Emily but noticed a shadow above. It looked up and saw flaming petals raining down and quickly dodged them all. BOOM!! BOOM!! KA-BOOM!!
When the smoke cleared, Rose Knight appeared out of nowhere and started swinging her sword at the humanoid snake but every time she tries to land an attack she missed her target.
Then, the humanoid snake whipped its tail at Rose Knight causing her to crash to a nearby wall. CRASH!!
A split second before she could react, the beast wrapped its tail around her body squeezing her so hard and slamming her to the ground several times. THUD!! THUD!! THUD!! BAAM!!
The beast got bored and threw Rose Knight across the soccer field and into the goal. It then smelled its surroundings as if it was looking for something. When it found the scent it was after, it slithered away.
On the other hand, Rose Knight slowly got up and dusted herself. "I even forgot to stretch this morning," she muttered to herself,
She then looked around and could not find the humanoid snake. Suddenly, her eyes glowed red and Rose Knight heard people screaming, cars beeping, glass breaking, and police sirens blaring.
Rose Knight's eyes stopped glowing, looked to her right, and seeing her sword stuck in the net, grabbed it, and ran away from the soccer field and into the streets following the trail of broken cars.
'Gee, I hope they all got insurance to back it up' she thought to herself, 'But I have to stop this thing from trashing the city and fast.'
She took a sharp turn to her left, jumped on one car, then grabbed on a street light and with enough force, swung herself up into the air and started jumping from building to building. Rose Knight noticed a huge smoke coming from a distance and went straight for it. She then saw the humanoid snake destroying cars and whipping its tail at the police officers.
Seeing this, Rose Knight jumped in and grabbed the officers in mid-air and landed safely on the ground.
"You have to evacuate the people in the area." she told them, "I'll take care of that monster."
The police officers were a bit skeptical. "Why should we take orders from you?" one of them said,
Suddenly, they noticed that one of the police cars was headed towards them but Rose Knight sliced it to pieces. SLASH!! BOOM!!
"Do you want to die by the hands of that thing?" Rose Knight asked the officers as she pointed her blade at the humanoid snake who was clearly making a mess and injuring the other officers.
The police officers who were saved thought about it for a minute and said, "We'll take care of the civilians," then, they ordered the remaining uninjured officers to retreat and help evacuate the area.
On the other hand, Rose Knight quickly stood in front of the humanoid snake while pointing her sword at the beast.
"It's the end of the line for you," she said,
"You are mis-sss-staken." the humanoid snake hissed, "IT'S-SSS THE END OF YOU!!"
The beast then slithered and charged straight for Rose Knight as she readied her sword and facing the beast head-on.
"BRING IT!!" Rose Knight shouted,
