Leila once read a thing or two about human psychology to know that holding back on something so natural to you is damaging if it is not vented on them. Like when forced to hold back your pee forcefully until it went away on their own will either result in UTI or some bladder issues. In the case that is happening to them is not so long-term as that, but definitely chaos incarnate.
The first time they implemented their plan to play some fun sabotages among themselves did not end quite well. First was that their room for such activities is literally limited in their quarters. And second subtleties are hard to do when you are opening a faucet right on a big dam. Leila had a hard time making sure that they did not get unwanted attention the whole time. Meaning she did not have a chance to join them and took the position of a look out and someone who cleans after them as she promised Harvey.
