Leila was annoyed that she was unable to prevent some things from happening despite doing everything she could to not let it happen. She wanted to snap or something to vent her negative emotions. But she is rational and will always be one. Thus she has to keep quiet and scheme her way to lessen the effect of these events.
She is well-aware that even if she makes an absolutely safe place, humans themselves will make things chaotic on their own. It does not help that there were some existing tensions between people for her to do something about.Thus them having their version of messy politics for their own convenience.
"I'm so done with these fights." Sophie whispered in a voice that only they could hear her. "Can't they wait until we all get away here before they tear apart all pleasantries? I'm stressing someone our age should not be having."
