Leila kinda regrets not trying to see more of why Harvey was very insistent on her return as much as possible. She never knew things were so bad that the boy had opted to not deal with it at all. To be honest if she has someone else suitable to take this pot, she might have done the same as the boy did.
In all fairness, she is a very experienced entity able to cope with the rapid and dynamatic things that come her way in her new life. If she wasn't, she was sure to have a breakdown at some point with how stressed she is currently.
