After she had done what she promised for the young cub, Leila went to the lake once again to fulfill the other part of her promise.
She promised a way out for the wolves left in their homes. To do so, she has to make sure that there will be less damage for the humans living nearby. The fight between the beasts lording over the lakes is destined to be more devastating than the previous ones for the reason that their populations are dwelling.
Leila knew the effects of the loss of patron gods to their creations. If the first generation is not yet dead, things might have been easier for she just needed to give an influx of divine powers to sustain their population so that they can adapt more to the changed world without their creators.
