The journey to the deepest part of the cave was not without some hiccups. Their journey 'till now, there were no monsters along the way. The giant serpents are just too terrifying that most beasts and animals dares not to nest or be near their territory.
But that does not mean that there were no such creatures inside their caves. In fact small and terrible creatures lived in great harmony with the serpents. They lived from the aura the glowing stone is giving off and of whatever the serpents give off. Most of them are savenger types, but that does not mean they are not deadly creatures despite their way of living.
There are plenty of varieties of them, ranging from insect types down to the mammals types. But the one that truly stood out was the one they are fighting with currently.
