Sophie froze as she saw the same eyes that were present when that ape died before. She knew that Leila was angry enough to be like that again. Subconsciously even if she doesn't want it, she shivered uncontrollably.
Leila noticed her state and reached out a hand to pat her in the head. This move did not do any good to Sophie, making her shiver even more. But even if Sophie was afraid, the former goddess wanted the brunette to accept this side of her.
She will never hurt her own. This does not only apply to Khelly, but everyone whom she recognizes. As long as they still hold good feelings and relationships with her, not endangering her and her people, she can go to hell for them.
"Don't be afraid. Didn't I say I will not hurt you?" Leila said as she softly ruffled Sophie's head.
