Considering the natural cycle of life inside a forest, finding bones in a forest can be said to be normal. Most of the time the said bones were scattered all over, due to whatever table manners of the predator or carnivore has. In most cases finding a complete and intact bone is a rare commodity as finding water in a desert.
So this finding of Leila is weird in all sorts of aspects. First was that the bones beneath her are complete, like only the flesh was stripped away from the creature it used to be. Secondly, the bones were actually a little fresh, from her scan it has its bone marrows intact and is still wet from its blood production. And third, how did they end up underneath the soil.
