As first years of the Ec1 Comprehensive Junior High, they are mandated to take basic subjects and specialized programs by their class. From the viewpoint of a student it is a troublesome thing, but for the school it is a necessity. The school needs to improve themselves and distinguish themselves from other institutions after all.
It is only in their fourth year do they get to choose what specialize classes they should want for their final year. For the subsequent years before fourth year, they all will take the specialized subjects that they have yet to take.
With that arrangement in order, the last to class is normally left for such subjects. For this year's first years' choices there are three of such subjects: Summoning, Programing and Archiving.
