Leila stalked the night with an eager glow in her eyes. Gone were her blue eyes, replaced by a glowing sunset set. Thankfully her eyeglasses obscure the changes in her eyes.
The first place she went to was the nearest gate. The layout of their current campus was designed to have as many as possible exit points for them to flee on. All corners were walled with earthen and metal magic, so for everyone's escape routes both hidden and visible gates are available to use.
As far as Leila as counted, there are thirteen hidden passageways and eight official gates. Everyone who is on guard duty was tasked to familiarize with these places long after they were made. Both to be aware of where to go if things took turn to the worst.
