Ever since that day, Ms. Holley had been doing her best not to be alone with Leila. On the part of the child, she just doesn't get why someone will get scared over some questions. Nothing she did was wrong nor she had done anything bad against the other.
But this game of cat and mouse of theirs was over after a few weeks. The vacation is around the corner. Afterwards they are not going to see or attend the daycare again until a reunion perhaps in the future.
For the last time the children were placed in the same room. Although they are not too close with one another due to how limited their time together, it didn't stop them from forming some kinship among them. Kids form bonds not due to time, but to the small instances adults don't understand as they are all grown up.
