After that little blunder of little Khelly, they headed to the gym for the entrance ceremony. Many students were already gathered over there and the whole thing just bores Leila. The principal made a long speech (though she did enjoy listening) that some students didn't pay much attention to.
Leila appreciates the effort, but this type of thing should be made short. The audiences are young and it's hard for children to actually focus their attention for a very long time. The act itself is a little useless to these students as most of them will let the words enter their right ear then pass through the left ear. It's better to make them run and build their basic foundation than forcing them to sit and listen to grandeur and promises that they still haven't comprehend.
