Now when I completed all my office works I had only one task to complete and that is to find Mr Niall a woman with whom he can attend the party. I mean like really? It was nice when he was not attending the party, why suddenly? Moreover, how can I find him a partner? I barely know anyone who has any relations with him and he is such an ass I bet he won't have dated anyone in his whole lifetime.
I asked Emma but she was also invited and she was going with Jeremy. Also, would any office colleague like ruin her evening with this arrogant ass? And about me, I was not insane to go with him. I was finally, left with no other option than to contact his mother. After so much analysis, I've got to know that he has nice relations with his mom. So, I thought maybe she could help me.
'Hello? Who's this?' She asked
'Sorry, Mrs Carter to call you all of a sudden. By the way, I'm Sarah.' I said.
As soon as she heard my name she got filled with happiness.
'Oh! Sarah, how have you been?' She asked with joy in her voice.
'I'm fine, how are you, ma'am?' I asked.
'Oh! I am good.' She said.
'I have a favour to ask you, Mrs Carter. So, can I?' I asked being a bit hesitant.
'Yeah sure, what is it?' She asked.
'Well, the thing is...Mr. Niall wants to come to the party but he has no one to accompany him. Do you know any of his female friends? Cause he has asked me to find one.' I asked.
'What!! He's coming? Oh! That's great. But I'm afraid that I won't be able to help you to find him a companion. Cause he never shared things regarding his friends or stuff like that.' She said.
I got filled with disappointment and I started feeling hopeless. What will I do now? I thought when she said,
'But you see, once he had a friend named Carla. He used to be very close to her.' She said.
A smile was about to appear on my face but it disappeared when she said,
'But...now he doesn't talk with her. I guess.' She said.
'Oh! I see.' I said in disappointment.
'Well, then, thanks for your suggestions, Mrs Carter.' I said.
And we ended the phone call with byes.

Well, I knew that the theme of the party of couples and I also knew why was it so. It was because of me, Niall Carter. I knew what dad was aiming for. I knew that who in the end they are trying to tie me up with. But one thing they were forgetting, that I am Niall Carter and I know how to tackle this problem.
I was sitting on my sofa in my cabin, thinking about all this. It was around 7 pm and Sarah was nowhere to be seen. I knew she'll end quoting this task. Thinking of all this made me smirk. And then I saw her coming into the cabin. So, I quickly changed my expressions and started to look at the file I was holding.
She came in, her face expressed disappointment all over. I looked at her and raised my eyebrows. I closed my file and stood up,
'So, did you find anyone?' I asked and started walking towards her.
'Umm...actually...' She said and started looking here and there while rubbing her forehead with her index finger while her thump rested on the temple.
I was admiring her from standing on distance, cause she looked cute, but then someone broke my gaze,
'Niall!!' Said a girl who just entered the cabin. She wearing a black dress, too small for her to wear. She was the one I was...Not waiting for.
As soon as she entered, Sarah started looking at her with astonishment, her voice was shrill and ringing.
'Oh! honey!! Here you are!!' She said.
As soon as she said, Honey!! Sarah suddenly turned her head towards me. She stared at me with wide eyes and mouth wide opened. After all, no one knew that Carla was my girlfriend with whom I had broke up almost ten months ago. But I guess, she still thought of me as his man. But I had moved on already.
Obviously, after my state of mind was all flustered two years ago she was the first girl I met. And I saw no one but her. But I guess she was not worth it, I thought she was like her. The one whom I lost two years ago...
'How have you been, honey!' She said and tried to come near me.
But I went close to Sarah and stood near her. Sarah looked at me and shifted a bit aside. And then started looking down being uncomfortable.
'What are you doing here Carla?' I finally broke my silence and again Sarah looked at me with wide eyes.
I looked at her and raised my eyebrows and she shook her head. It was like each time she was asking a question to me from her eyes, but I was the one who wasn't able to understand. After this short conversation between me and Sarah, we looked back at Carla.
'I was just...thinking to join you for the party. I know you need a companion dear. Am I right?' She said.
My plans were different, I looked at Sarah from the corner of my eyes and I was shocked to see that she was smiling. Is she out of her mind shy is she smiling? What the hell!!
'What are you thinking?' She said and started to walk towards me.
But before she could do something I had only one choice to do to avoid Carla. And that choice was standing right beside me. I quickly held Sarah's waist and pulled her closer to me and said,
'I'm going with her.'

I was standing there and suddenly I felt a hand approaching my waist. But before I could do anything Mr Niall held me closer towards himself. I got froze, it was like my hands and legs were not functioning and I was paralyzed for a moment. This wasn't something I was expecting. Then I heard him making a decision,
'I'm going with her.'
Already decided? Who'll ask me? He needs my permission too if he wants to go with me. Can anybody inform him?
I looked at him and he smiled at me, a shiver ran through my spine. What was all this happening?
'But..I...I have the right to go with you, not this...this middle-class girl.' She said being frustrated.
What?? Middle class?? She doesn't even know, who the hell is my mom, Middle class?? Uh!!
I was about to open my mouth to curse her when Mr Niall said,
'How dare you talk to my girl like that?'
What?? My girl? What is this happening? I was feeling frustrated and annoyed, this not what was supposed to be now. Is Mr Niall alright, why was blabbering something so stupid?
'Your..your girl? Niall!!' She screamed.
'Stop screaming! Your voice too shrill for my ears to bear. Find someone else to accompany.' He said.
And even before Carla could say anything, Mr Niall signalled her to stop it. She feeling all embarrassed went out banging the door.
As soon as she went out I punched Mr Niall in the paunch with my thumb peeping out between my fingers. As I punched him, he instantly let me go and sat on the sofa covering his area that faced a punch just right now.
'Ow!! You're mad??' He yelled.
'No, you're mad??' I yelled back.
'Why did you punch me?' He said.
'Why did you touch me?' I yelled again.
'Why did you...Aaah!! It hurts. Anyways you're coming with me?' He said.
'No, never!!' I said and went out.
Never!! I am never going to accompany the arrogant ass!...
