Chapter 15 - Resolutions (3/3)

When Jackson and Lisa's careers were on the edge in the last chapter, they had to make a decision.

Author's Point Of View

Starting on Jackson's side, he's in his room after watching the audition tape for the first time.

Now that it's 10 p.m., Jackson checks at his phone to see what time it is. A part of his life seemed to be missing, and he was unable to sleep. He observed his social media for those who had no knowledge he existed. The account he set up for the purpose of monitoring the reactions of fans in response to his controversy.

How can you let them know that Maria is the one who has put it all up? How could they possibly believe what I've viewed? To "fight and hold back" their response, what can I do? If only someone could explain to me what planning is all about.

Tring.

Someone had sent Jackson a message, and he was eager to read it.

Florence: Are you still awake?

At this hour, why doesn't Florence have a nice nights' sleep?

Jackson: Yeah, I'm still waking up. What's going on?

Florence: Have you heard about Maria's position in the news?

Jackson: What did she do this time?

Florence: Lisa has been cast in her latest project.

Jackson: What?? Obviously, that's not possible.

Florence: As a matter of fact, Lisa personally will also be producing the movie. You can't honestly think this.

Jackson: Isn't it true that she was attempting to produce the film I asked her to? When the plot was being written by the writer, I requested her to adapt it into the movie.

Florence: Oh, yeah?

Jackson: She's using a new talent as her new game, and it's proving to be all that successful.

Florence: Keep your cool.

Jackson: Yes…

Florence: I should go to bed; I can hear Maria coming from the other room.

Jackson: Okay, bye.

When Jackson went to bed, he turned off his phone and fell back to sleep.

Jackson goes to school the next day and meets Holly.

"Hey, Holly."

Jackson's greeting was unanswered. In confusion, Jackson tapped Holly on the shoulder to let her know he wasn't sure what was going on.

Upon looking closer, Holly noticed that Holly's face was swollen and bruised from various blows, the worst of which would be under her eyes.

"Holly, I'm sorry. Who is responsible for this?"

It wasn't clear who had done this to Holly when Holly didn't respond to Jackson. Holly, on the other hand, sobbed and pushed Jackson when he became furious because his friend was harmed.

'Hey!' Jackson screamed in confusion, not understanding his mistake.

Jackson ran immediately to class and found that it was completely empty. While sitting in his chair, he felt the peacefulness of his classmates. Florence was in a hurry to get to class. Then Jackson questioned Flo, "What's going on, Flo?"

"Where's Holly?" she asked, her eyes wide with concern.

"The truth is, I don't know, Flo. When I patted her on the shoulder and saw her wound, she began crying."

"Jeez… We need to find Holly, Jackson, and bring her to us before she reaches the rope. This is bad!!"

"The rope? Why??"

In the end, Jackson understood what Florence was saying, stood up, and then walked out of the class. While Holly was at school, Jackson and Florence searched everywhere for her. Then, when they were virtually empty, Lisa ran towards them.

"Hello to all of you. Does anybody know what's going on with Holly??"

It's unclear to Jackson and Florence why Lisa is worried about Holly.

"She confided in me about her depression yesterday. You know, I'm terrified she's going to commit suicide. Someone, somebody, tell me where Holly is."

"Depression?? When did she get depressed?", As soon as Lisa claimed Holly was sad, Florence had a weird feeling.

That wound may have caused her to become melancholy as a result. - Jackson.

"Now that we've separated, let's each go look for Holly individually. It's off to the cafeteria for Lisa and Florence and on to class for me. If we can only find her in time!"

As soon as they both agreed, they set off to find Holly. A woman's shadow appears above Jackson as he stares at the ground. As he looked back, he saw Holly standing on the roof of the school.

"Holly!! Don't lose hope!"

When Jackson noticed her, he dashed into school and climbed to the roof. Holly was gripping a rope, her shoes were separated, and her traumatized face was in plain sight to him.

"It's time for you to relax, Holly. Please don't jump over the roof, Holly."

"Why did you call me so late yesterday?" Holly asked in haste as if she had been crying.

"My parents need to hear about the troubles I'm facing right now, so I'm sorry for the inconvenience."

"Today my mother hit me up for calling you, a boy. Jackson, you're the first one to phone me at night. This was the first time someone has called me in the middle of the night. Due to an incident, I've had before arriving in this city..."

"So you the transfer student?"

"That's correct."

"It's a good thing that you're here."

"Yeah."

They stared at one other without saying a word. Lisa and Florence made their way up to the roof to look at the sight. See the two of them at the moment.

"I'm really sorry." Lisa was bothered by the interaction between Jackson and Holly relationship.

There is no doubt in their minds that Lisa and Florence are on their way. They quickly brought Holly to the teacher's office to beg for permission to take her home, and she was granted permission instantly. As a result of her desire to keep her mother in the shadows, Holly declined her friends' requests.

"I just wash my face, it's not a problem. When I'm crying, I don't want anyone else to know."

Lisa, Florence, and Jackson were unable to say no to Holly's request. They all nodded in agreement. The two bump into Dessy in class when Jackson and Lisa are on their way to class. When Lisa encountered Dessy, she thought there was something wrong with her. On either side of her was a group of "friends" that Lisa regularly brought to the canteen with her. Dessy then noticed that Lisa was hanging out with Jackson and decided to follow suit.

"There's a new pair in the class, you guys! When Lisa and the dorky guy..."

"That guy isn't a friend of yours, Lisa, as you claimed. Why are you walking with him now?"

Desperate to prove to Dessy and her friends that she has matured, Lisa ignores their advice. The same was true for Jackson. He walked into the classroom with a blank stare.

"Those guys are getting carried away with their emotions, and we really apologize. Hahaha, I hope your relationship lasts."

Jackson and Lisa took their seats in class. Jackson reflects on Holly's statement that their phone plan was a nightmare. Because of this, he feels bad about hurting his best friend. He wants to make amends with Holly's mother and put an end to the tension between them.

Lisa, on the other hand, is convinced that her decision to become a producer has already been made and that it will not be changed.
