Charles looks at the pendant indifferently, staring at it for quite a while before he looks back at me. This time he gives me a little sad smile before he says, "Well I don't want to keep you too long Lady.Victoria."
Lady Victoria?
"I know you have other business to attend to but thank you so much for your time."He gives me a slight bow while holding out his hand and I take it, getting off the stool. "N-not a problem Charles anytime really." He nods to my comment taking me to the glass exit and letting my hand go, "Well Lady. Victoria I think this is where we part ways. I know I have a lot of work to do on your new garment so I better get back to work...But again thank you for this time." I gaze back at him with a sigh, "T-thank you, Charles! And please take your time on the garment I already have plenty. Get some rest and make sure to sleep well, you don't have to put the garment before you."
He doesn't respond to what I say, so I turn and leave awkwardly. And as I walk through the studio I could have sworn he said, "But I can't", quietly. I swore he said it, but not quiet enough to where I couldn't hear it, so maybe he wanted me to.
I reached down the hallway lost in my thoughts and two guards meet me at the Elevator. "Lady.Victoria." "Greetings," I respond back as they lead me into the elevator. The same silent routine it is until I make it to my room where I find the door slightly open...
Cracked just a little, but open for me to see, and I swear I closed it before I left... So in my now racing mind, I came to the conclusion that someone had been in here...
Right after I left, they were searching for something.
