-=Lauren=-
I dialed Jinnie to inquire about my child's arrival.
"Hey Jin."
"L-Lauren."
"You alright?"
She didn't reply.
"Are you okay, Jinnie?"
"The child's been in an accident. You need to get here..."
She sobbed.
"Where? Where are you?"
"TTU Hospital, down the East Road."
"Hang on."
I hurried down the street my hands trembling over the driving wheel just as Taehyung called me.
[Hello?]
[Lauren. How's the meet? Is she pissed? Need not worry, I'll see to it. Lauren?]
[Tae...my daughter's been in an accident-]
[I'll be there. Send me the address.]
[It's alright...You don't have to.]
He refused stubbornly. Sighing, I gave up.
"What happened?"
He mutters, as soon as I get off my car.
"I don't know. Jinnie called me saying she's all out..."
He took my hand and guided me upstairs, my senses seeping out of me as thousands of scenarios busted into my head making it ache with worry.
I saw a very distressed looking Jin with her face turned towards the door. Her usually composed self, now an emotional mess. Her always glamorous hair in a knotted chaos. Shrugging off my depression I hugged her from behind.
"It's not your fault, love. She'll be fine..."
"It is my fault, Lauren. I'm- I..."
She choked.
Patting her back soothingly, I escorted her to the nearest bench.
She laid her head on my shoulder and cried bitterly, my own tears trickled by.
Minutes passed as she finally calmed down and raised her head.
Taehyung had his back against the wall, staring at us with an intense gaze.
Their eyes met and a look of horror played over Jinnie's face.
"Kim Eun Jin."
He said, through gritted teeth.
"You two know each other?"
Ignoring me, she stepped ahead pinning him with her own stare.
"Taehyung."
-=Taehyung=-
I looked vacantly at my long lost sister as she finally noticed my presence.
"Taehyung."
"Long time no see, little sister."
The corner of my eye captured a gaping Lauren.
Eun Jin stayed silent as I continued.
"Where? Where have you been?"
A low growl escaped from my mouth as she decided to stay quiet.
"Why... Why?!"
"Shut up!"
I cringed at her scream, saw Jungkook entering and tensed.
"I was pregnant! How was I supposed to face you? How? You already had a lot on your platter. So I did what a naive 19 year old would do. I ran. Away to save all the drama I'd have caused."
She paused and quick glanced at Jungkook.
"As for my son. He's...dead."
Lauren let out a gasp and I stared at my sister.
Eun Jin faced Lauren, her eyes softening.
"I'll get some air."
Eon Jin turned about and faced us, narrowing her eyes at Jungkook.
-=Eon Jin=-
I gasped as my eyes captured the look of my past lover. His eyes as dark as ever. Narrowing my eyes, I turned on my heels, ready to escape.
"Why?"
He muttered as I passed by, catching ahold of my sleeve. Stopping in my tracks I let out a shaky laugh. Our eyes locked and my smile faded.
"Have your eyes ever bled?"
I shaked off his hand and walked away from the two beloved men from my past and a very confused looking elder sister whom I had come to adore.
My footsteps echoed through the now ghostly silent hallways of the hospital.
"Have your eyes ever bled?"
I muttered to myself.
