Sebastiene's POV.
On lady Melody's orders, I travelled from Westreon to the Darken Lands. The land of my ancestors. Technically, the Hebi clan which settled in Westreon originated from one of the clans here.
The Darken Lands is a place filled with original, pure blood demons. This place is far south of the world, a continent in itself where no other race is allowed to enter without permission. This land is led by each clan's chiefs and conflict is common. This is also the place where necromancers originated.
I walked a path that was lined with rocks and lava flowed on the side instead of a river. There were a couple of eyes that have watched me since I started to enter this territory. I do not feel any killing intent, but just careful and watchful eyes. I really don't like it here, but there is someone I needed to meet. The only one I know who could help me with the problem.
"Who are you?" A booming voice asked from behind the rock gate. "What is your business here?"
I looked up and smiled.
"I am Sebastiene Valittu Hebi." I answered clearly before stating my business. "I am here to meet Aileery Rhod."
The voice from behind the gate did not respond. After a few moments, the heavy rock gate started to move open. A very small opening, just enough for a my small body to pass through.
I walked inside with confident steps until I stood in front of the gate keeper. A being with bat-like wings that spreads for a few feet. It's gigantic body was covered in thick, rock-like scales. Sharp claws matches its sharp teeth.
The dragon looked down on me with slit eyes as smoke came out from his nostrils when he exhales.
"First demon king." He said with distaste. "Been some time since you cane here."
"And I wouldn't have if not for something that could negatively affect our kind." I answered him with a smile before continuing on my way.
I walked on the same path that I last walked on about a thousand years ago. It was still the same. The rocks, the volcano, the lava, everything still looked like how it was back then. It felt like time stopped in this place.
I stopped at a familiar rock that was used as a door. I have been in front of this rock countless of times in the past, even before I became a demon king. I have been in this exact spot so many times that kicking the rock open was normal for me.
"What do you want, snake?" A raspy voice asked from inside the dark stone cave.
"Aileery, I need you to look at something." I called out. "It is something that even I, cannot fully understand."
I heard an annoyed grunt from inside before the rocks that were used as walls of the cave creaked. A little while later, soft footsteps could be heard approaching the door.
"What in the underworld do you have that you needed to wake me up from my slumber, you little punk?" A semi-naked man came out of the cave.
He was only wearing ragged pants that hung low on his hips and a sleeveless shirt that was unbuttoned in front. Well, there were no buttons to be exact. His long, raven black hair was messy and covered half of his face. Aileery Rhod, a fire dragon, came out in his human form looking annoyed.
"It's a little difficult to explain." I smiled at him. "And I definitely cannot show it to you here."
He looked at me seriously before nodding his head and inviting me inside his cave home.
"So what is it that you wanted to show me?" He asked as soon as we reached his nest deep inside the cave.
I smiled at him and opened my portal and pushed him inside without explanation. He dropped on his feet from the little shove I gave him.
What a weak dragon.
"This is what I wanted to show you." I said when we got in. "This is what I needed your help in."
Aileery got up and dusted his knees.
"You little--.." He choked me with his arms. "How could you push me like tha-?!"
He stopped what he was saying as he took notice of the surroundings.
"What the-? What is this?" He asked with a frown as he looked at me. "Did you do this you little snake?!"
I did not mind him having many questions, I even expected it. But, did he really just accused me of doing this insane thing?
"I--.." I wanted to say I didn't but he cut me off when he saw who was in the big tubes.
"What is she doing here?" He asked, dropping me on the side and walking straight to one of the tubes. "Did you-?"
"Are you really going to accuse me of doing something this horrible to my fellow demon kind?" I asked, pissed that he kept accusing me.
Aileery narrowed his eyes at me.
"Are you seriously doubting me right now you fuc--?!" I wanted to strangle him right now.
"Then, who the fvck did this to our kind?"
