Chapter 135 - Chapter 135

"You think this Dominic guy seduced a demon princess?" I asked doubtfully.

"Dominic is known as Mikael's incarnate." Miss Blood said like it was an explanation.

Mikael is known as the god of the sun and light. He is also known as the most handsome god who bares the sword of light.

To be compared to a god, he must really be good looking.

"Have you ever seen him?" I asked Miss Bloom who shook her head.

"I won't believe what other people say unless I see him myself." Athy haughtily said.

"Same." I agreed with Athy.

With the men in our house, I doubt we would still find other handsome men as surprising. My father is considered as the most handsome man during his childhood. We also have the 1st demon king, Sebastiene, the general and young lord of the wind clan, Haktor, and the knight Klent Mark. Klaus and Loki will also be on the list as well as some other knights.

Thinking about it, I realized that mother was also titled as the most beautiful woman during her younger years. The kind also courted her to be one of his concubines and princes from other kingdoms also fancied her, not to mention the number of noblemen who tried too.

No wonder we look like this, our blood came from the most handsome and beautiful pair.

"My ladies." Haktor knocked on the carriage door. "Everything has been taken care of. We can now continue on our way."

I opened the curtain on my window and saw a brightly smiling Haktor.

"Okay." I nodded. "Tell everyone to get ready to move again and lead the way, general Haktor."

"Yes, my lady." Haktor bowed and started giving orders to everyone.

A few moments later, Loki knocked on the door and announced Milia's return to the carriage. He even assisted her to get inside. After a few minutes, we started moving again.

Inside the carriage, Miss Bloom continued to read the papers and handed me some while discussing the contents. Athy opened the curtain on her side and looked out as we travelled, commenting on our discussions every now and then.

"Lady Castellan, may I see your weapon?" Milia suddenly spoke with determination.

Athy and I looked at her.

"We are both lady Castellans, which of our weapons are you talking about?" Athy frowned.

"Uhh.. Sorry, I would like to see both, if possible." Milia replied a bit embarrassed. "Please."

"Sure." I summoned my sword, Vita, and handed it to her.

She held it like it was some kind of fragile glass, afraid of breaking it. Her hands were trembling as if she was afraid of holding it.

"Th-this is Vita, right?" She asked with trembling voice. "The sword of life. Forged by the goddess of life herself."

"Yep." I said popping the 'P'.

"W-why is it in your hand?" She asked.

I frowned at her rude question.

"Why shouldn't it in my hands?" I asked, my tone was rather cold.

Milia snapped her head at me, shocked.

"I'm sorry, Lady Castellan. I didn't mean the question to be rude or insulting." She apologized.

"Why are you even questioning me?" I snickered. "You know that god forged weapons can only be wielded by the chosen ones. If one has it, it only means that that person was chosen by the god or goddess to wield their weapon."

She must have realized her mistake as her face became red.

"Of-of course." She nodded and returned Vita to me. She then turned to face Athy who was sitting facing her.

"The carriage is too narrow for me to summon my weapon, so I hope you won't mind being cramped." Athy said before summoning her scythe.

With Heyva Sor in the middle, the carriage indeed became cramped. But this is my first time looking at Athy's weapon up close. It was indeed beautiful, made from black metal with vine like design. There were inscriptions on the handle and it seems to glow with a purple light.

"H-heyva Sor?!" Milia gasped when she saw Athy's weapon.

"Yes." Athy nodded before coldly added. "And I will use it to cut off something from you if you would dare to ask me the same question you asked my sister."

"N-no! Of course not, Lady Castellan." Milia trembled even more with Athy that she did with me. She did not even touch Heyva Sor and just looked at it very closely. She then thanked Athy who easily made it disappear.

"I cannot believe that such a vicious weapon will be in the hands of a young girl." Milia closed her eyes and breathed heavily.

"How could you say it's vicious?" Athy asked with a frown. "I haven't used it to take your head now, did I?"

Milia gulped.

"Lady Castellan, do you know the history of Sidapa's weapons?" Milia asked hesitantly. She was definitely afraid of Athy.

"No." Athy replied with a flip of her silver hair. "But, do I even need to know?"

Milia looked at me and then back at Athy.

"I think you do, Lady Castellan." She nodded.
