Chapter 136 - Chapter 136

"Speak. Tell us what you know of the weapon my sister is bestowed by the god of death himself." I urged Milia. "We still have some time before reaching our castle anyways."

Milia looked at Athy and waited for her permission to speak. I also turned to look at Athy with expectation.

"Fine." Athy said with a wave of her hand.

Milia then spoke with a solemn voice.

"Heyva Sor is a weapon forged from the horn of the first ruler of the underworld, Masaken, the original god of death." Milia said. "And every time it is used to hurt the innocent, it strengthens the forgotten god."

"Masaken's horn?" I asked. I saw Masaken's portrait and his horns but the size of Heyva Sor wouldn't fit even if Sidapa used both of his horns.

"Yes." Milia nodded. "Masaken was a giant god, his horn was also enormous. During his fight with the other gods, his left horn broke, thus Lord Sidapa was able to use it as a material to forge a weapon."

"So you are telling me that I am holding a god's horn?" Athy asked, her face was black and I instantly knew that Sidapa is in for a beating from his vessel.

"Yes, lady Castellan." Milia nodded with seriousness. "But as long as you do not harm an innocent, it would be okay."

"It is the same as the warning given to you minus the background story." I told Athy.

"I am still holding a part of the body of a certain god." Athy said coldly. Her anger rising the more she thought about it.

"It's fine." I patted her leg. "We'll talk about it more when we get back."

Athy huffed and stared out the window again.

After the bomb that she dropped and sensing Athy's annoyance, Milia stayed quiet and just listened to Miss Bloom's explanation to me about the other items on the list until we arrived at the castle.

We all went down assisted by Loki who immediately followed Athy who stormed back into the house.

I sighed at the sight of my little sister stomping off before getting busy with giving instructions to Haktor about what to do with what we brought back.

Injured to the infirmary, infected to the underground quarantine area and the enemies, injured or not, to the dungeon. I also sent a knight with healing abilities to administer first aid to the leader of the black robed men.

"My lady, what would you like to do to the black robed man that attacked you?" Haktor asked with a serious look. I bet he wanted to give him a beating before Sebastiene returned.

"Just apply first aid to him for the meantime, I'll have Seb go and interrogate him." I answered before questioning back. "How are the guards you took to Elaheh?"

"We found a pill on the one who did not turn old." Haktor answered as we walked towards the carriage where the people Milia saved were being helped by the knights. "It turned out that he did not consume his pill and kept it in his pocket. Miss Elaheh is looking into it now."

"I see." I nodded as I watched the knights carry the children down from the carriage. But there seems to be a problem because the knights were crowding one of the carriages with Milia.

So I went to take a closer look and found a child was trying hard not to go down and they were trying to talk him into coming down.

"Come on, don't be scared." One female knight opened her arms to the child who was curled up and trembling. The child was hissing and sticking to the corner of the carriage while hugging its legs close to its chest.

I could feel someone clutched my heart. I have always had a soft spot for children, even before I was reborn. Thus seeing this child really pained me.

"Move." I said and they parted to let me get close to the door of the carriage. I looked inside and saw a very young child with black hair and reddish eyes. I frowned before stepping up to get inside.

"My lady!" A knight stopped me. "The child is not human, he just used an ability that commands darkness to hurt the knights who tried to go in, even Miss Milia."

I turned to look at Milia and saw a clear gnash on her cheek, as if she was whipped. She looked okay though, and more worried about the child inside.

"It's fine." I guaranteed to the knight. "I can protect myself."

The knight hesitantly let go of my arm and nodded.

I got inside and sat across the child who was surprisingly young. The child looked to be only two or three years old, a mere toddler. His black hair was long and disheveled, his red eyes were blank as he stared at me.

What the fudge?

He looked like the younger version Sebastiene!
