Sebastiene chuckled at the words the girl spoke.
"I would really like to see just how strong an elf could be."
The black robed girl turned to look at Sebastiene.
"You know? Who are you?" She asked.
"Someone you should never fight against." Sebastiene replied with a smirk.
The black robed girl raised her dagger.
"We'll see about that." She spoke confidently and dashed towards Sebastiene.
Sebastiene also darted straight and met her blow bare handed. The intensity and power behind their blows created a crater beneath them. They both jumped back at the same time. The girl's black robe was cut on the side. The slit showed a glimpse of a pink skirt.
"Quite daring of you to block my attack bare handed." The little girl contemptuously said as she glanced at her torn robe.
"I have a few tricks up my sleeves when it comes to battling an elf you see." Sebastiene smirked and carefully folded the sleeves of his butler's uniform. "Especially one handling a god forged weapon."
The black robed girl tightened her hold on the weapon and dashed towards Sebastiene who also attacked. They exchanged powerful blows and moved so quickly that they looked like they disappeared. Their blows were so powerful that the floor, walls and ceiling of the hallway that were all made of rocks were left with craters.
Most of the knights are those that have eyes that were not trained to see quick movements and thus unable to follow the fight. On the other hand, Haktor and the few knights who were able to follow their movements were in awe of the fight. It was like they were watching a show, they felt like audiences instead of knights.
"Amazing." One of the knights whispered in awe.
It was indeed an amazing sight, but it also showed them how much they lacked when it comes to strength. It was amazing, but they realized something from it. They were rather weak. To see such a fight made them realize that their strength was not enough.
Haktor suddenly swung his heavy weapon and slashed on something. A clinking sound was heard before a crescent dagger fell on the floor. The knights behind him swallowed hard.
They almost died! If not for their general's quick reflexes, there would have been casualties on their side.
They stared at the back of their general with respect.
"Oops!" Sebastiene smiled and looked back on Haktor. "I didn't mean for it to fly towards you."
Their faces all went black.
This butler definitely did it on purpose to keep them on their feet!
The black robed girl staggered backwards and blood was flowing out of her mask. She clutched her left side tightly as if in pain.
"I suggest you surrender." Sebastiene suggested. His lady would definitely like this girl so wouldn't keeping her alive be beneficial for him?
"Surrendering is not on my choices." She replied and lifted her hand. The crescent dagger flew towards her and settled in her hand. "They would die if I did."
"Who?" Sebastiene asked, but his voice did not contain any trace of curiosity.
"None of your business." She replied with a sinister tone.
"Then I will have no other choice." Sebastiene raised his hand.
The next second, an enormous black sword appeared in his hand. The sword was almost as big as him and there was black smoke coming from it.
"Now, do you still want to try fighting my Black Curse with your Luna's Prayer?" Sebastiene asked kindly.
"A god forged weapon?" The black robed girl looked up at Sebastien. "How could you.. Someone like you.."
The black robed girl couldn't explain her shock.
"Do you think elves are the only one with a long History?" Sebastiene smiled at her mockingly. "You should not look down on other races. Elven kind are not the only race loved by a god or goddess."
The black robed girl stood straighter and stopped clutching her side. She raised her hand and took off her mask.
A beautiful blond elf stood before them. Her green eyes were red and there were blood stains coming from her mouth.
"Tell me, if I surrender, will you be able to beat the other black circle members and free us?" She asked.
"You are the only black circle member left." Sebastiene lightly chuckled and stabbed his word on the floor. He spoke with a nonchalant tone. "All the others have switched sides already."
"…" The elf looked at the smiling Sebastiene ambiguously.
"He is saying the truth, miss." Haktor interrupted. "The others have indeed switched sides."
"If they did, why did they not inform me?" She asked suspiciously.
"They didn't know where to find you." Haktor replied. "They have no idea what you also looked like, miss Milia."
Hearing her name, Milia withdrew her pressure and the air around them felt lighter. Now, they could breathe better.
"How can I be sure that you won't hurt me if I surrendered?" She asked distrustfully.
"We all swear upon House Castellan, that we will not hurt anyone who surrenders." Haktor replied without missing a beat.
"We were also ordered not to kill unnecessarily by our young lady." Sebastiene smiled and fixed his sleeves. His enormous sword stood on his side.
Milia deliberated for some time.
"I surrender." Milia spoke. "But do not feel relieved just yet. You haven't faced the strongest member of the black circle."
"I thought you were the strongest?" Sebastiene frowned at the new information.
Were the information given by Miss Bloom and Astrid's sisters, false?
