Chapter 115 - Chapter 115

Milia looked at them and tilted her head in confusion.

"I am not the strongest member of the black circle." She frowned. "The leader is."

Sebastiene and Haktor glanced at each other.

"The leader?" They both asked.

"Yes." Milia nodded and frowned slightly. "You do know Karciel is stronger than me right?"

"No." Sebastiene answered with a slight shrug. "We actually didn't."

"We thought you were the strongest enemy we have to face." Haktor answered with a serious look. "How strong is Karciel anyway?"

Milia's mouth dropped.

"Are you serious?" She asked and turned to Sebastiene. "He is far stronger than me. Maybe even stronger than you!"

Sebastiene raised a brow and showed an arrogant smirk.

"Is he?" He asked. "I would really like to see how strong he is."

"Do you mind pointing the way to where he is hiding?" Haktor took a step forward.

"I don't mind." She replied but then shook her head. "But I will not be coming with you there."

"It's fine, just pointing the way there would be enough." Haktor replied.

"Just continue going straight." She pointed at the hallway. "At the end, you will see a red door. That is where you will find him."

"Are there any traps there?" Haktor asked carefully.

Milia shook her head.

"There are only his personal guards inside the room and his woman, Madam Joy." She replied and looked straight to Haktor. "Do not underestimate his men, they are also strong. With the pill that Dusk gave him, they might be stronger that your knights."

Haktor looked back on his knights who looked rather insulted by the remark.

"What do you mean by pills?" Sebastiene asked. "Who's Dusk?"

"I am not sure who he is." Milia shook her head. "I only know that he and Karciel both serve the same master."

Sebastiene rubbed his chin.

"The pills are something their master gave them." Milia continued. "He said it would enhance the strength of the person who takes it."

"A strengthening pill?" One of the knights murmured, making the others look at him.

"Do you know of it, Kian?" Haktor asked the knight.

"I have only heard of it sir." Kian replied. "But as far as I know, it is not yet perfected and that it has an adverse effects on those who tried consuming it."

"Adverse effects?" Some other knight asked with a frown.

"Yes." Kian nodded. "I heard that those who consumed it turned old after the effects have worn off. They just aged like fifty years in a span of few minutes. There were also some who couldn't take the immense power and became crazy."

Sebastiene crossed his hands over his chest and thought for a moment.

"We should get there immediately and stop them from consuming those pills." Haktor said seriously. "If those people got out of here, the people outside might end up hurt."

Sebastiene then raised the corners of his lips and walked forward.

"Thank you for the information, Miss Milia." He smiled. "Please wait for us at the main hall, we would still need you to meet our Lady."

"You still plan on going in?" Milia asked in disbelief. "Did you not hear what we just said?"

Sebastiene chuckled yet his eyes showed excitement.

"I have trust in the knights my lady trained." Sebastiene answered her. "Most of them may not be as strong as you, but they will not be fighting alone. They are knights, and they will fight as such and not like some group of hooligans."

The knights listening to Sebastiene felt a boost in their confidence. Yes, they are knights and are trained to fight like one by the lady herself. They would not disgrace their lady by being defeated by some underground hooligans.

"Up to you." Milia shrugged in surrender. "But do I need to meet this lady of yours?"

"I'm afraid so." Sebastiene smiled charmingly.

"Fine!" She nodded. "But I would need to go underground first."

"Why is that?" Sebastiene's smile was set in place yet his tone was rather cold.

"I need to free the others." Milia replied as coldly. "There are still prisoners underground that are not up for sale."

"Sir Sebastiene." Haktor interrupted. "I think it would also be better, we could have some of our knights accompany her there."

Sebastiene turned his head towards Haktor, his smile was frozen in place.

"I think it would be better for her to go alone, general." Sebastiene shook his head. "We would need the knights to deal with the guards."

Milia stared at Sebastiene.

"I won't run away." She frowned slightly.

"I don't doubt you." Sebastiene smiled. "Even if you did, we have a lycan in our ranks that could sniff you out."

Milia looked stunned at the information and scanned the knights behind Haktor.

"He isn't here." Sebastiene slightly chuckled. "He is with our youngest lady."

Milia narrowed her ayes at him and turned on her heels.

"I will meet you outside." She said as she walked past them.

Sebastiene raised the corners of his lips and a ruthless smile flashed across his handsome face making the knights back be drenched in cold sweat.

"Let's go meet this Karciel." Sebastiene said and walked forward, leaving the stunned knights behind.
