Chapter 113 - Chapter 113

An intense bloodlust was felt in the whole Westreon city. The warriors, mercenaries and some fighters felt chills running down their backs while the common people felt a suffocating pressure. Everyone went on alert at the unpleasant feeling.

Inside the Auction house, everyone flinched when felt the bloodlust stronger. The auctioneer was too stunned by the sudden pressure that he fell on his butt first. The guards all went into alert and looked up to the room in the second floor. The intense bloodlust definitely came from the private room. The guards slowly ascended the stairs and lined up outside Klent???s private room.

The head guard, a fat man with bald head motioned for a guard to open the door. There were about fifty guards outside the door waiting. The smaller guard on the front nodded and slowly reached for the handle of the door. But before he could touch it, the door busted open and black armored knights came piling out!

The knights easily defeated the guards outside the door who were stunned by shock. Who would think that Knights would come out from the small room? They didn't even stop coming out from the room. About a hundred knights came out in their full armor from the room which can only hold about twenty people!

The knights rushed down the stairs and the guards were unable to stop them. Some knights threw bottles filled with purple liquid that created smoke when it broke on the floor. The smoke panicked the other guests but it also rendered them unconscious.

- A few moments before -

Sebastiene let out a bloodlust that scared almost everyone in the city, but at the same time, rendered most people from immobile. He then opened his space and out came Haktor and the Knights of Noktis in their full armor.

"Good job Klent." Haktor placed his hand on Klent's shoulder. "Now, where is the little rat located"

"He should be in two doors behind the stage, General." Sebastiene answered with a smile but a cold glint could be seen in his eyes.

"Then may the best man win." Haktor smirked at him with the same cold glint in his eyes.

- End -

The trio followed the knights downstairs who were making sure everyone was asleep.

"Whew! I wouldn't want to anger Lady Elaheh. Ever." Klent spoke as he kicked an unconscious guard who rolled down the stairs. "She could probably kill me with one of her potions!"

"Seeing the potency of her sleeping potion, I would have to agree." Haktor nodded. "I could still remember the itch powder she created that made old Rick cry his eyes out in the dungeon."

"Imagine being so itchy all over but have no way of relieving yourself" Klent shuddered at the thought. "You can only keep scratching until your skin bled."

"Lady Mel looked rather happy with the results though." Sebastiene chuckled on the side. "Did you see how she smiled every time she sees him begging for help?"

The trio laughed by themselves, not noticing the other knights were shuddering at their topic.

"General!" A knight called from the stage making the three look up. "We found the living items."

Haktor, Sebastiene and Klent went up the stage and into the back. There, they found wild beasts, people from different races, and the items that were auctioned earlier. The situation of the captives were very bad and the bars of the cages were doused with poison. The guards were lying on the floor, unconscious.

"The little rat is hiding deeper over there." Sebastiene smiled and pointed behind.

There was a long hallway which was dimly lit and an eerie feeling was coming out from it.

"Okay! Knights, tie up everyone, including the guests." Haktor commanded. "Keep those in the cages, in their cages. Team four, five and six, follow Commander Klent. Stay here and watch over the people, if anyone wakes up, put them back to sleep. Team one, two and three, with me. Prepare to engage the enemies."

Haktor then led the knights into the dimly lit hallway. He was careful and tried to walk as quietly as possible. Sebastiene walked on his side and use his ability to sense anyone or any traps that could have been prepared beforehand but found nothing. They walked deeper and deeper and they started to feel the air grow thin.

"Someone's coming." Sebastiene whispered as he narrowed his eyes.

Haktor signaled for everyone to stop and prepare for an attack. The knights went into battle position with the general and the butler in front.

At first, there was nothing they could hear but their breaths. Haktor furrowed his brows and glanced at Sebastiene when he saw his red eyes were glowing. He knew that Sebastiene was not lying about sensing someone approaching them.

Then it came.

The sounds of tiny footsteps reached their ears and a strong gust of wind blew from inside. Out of the darkness came a black robed person with a mask. He walked calmly but with each step of his made the air grow thinner, like he was stealing the oxygen away from them.

The person in black robe stopped a few feet away from them and took out a crescent dagger. It looked like a silver crescent moon shining in the sky.

"Go back." Came a tiny girlish voice. "If you want to live."

Her high pitched voice stunned the knights and even Sebastiene.

"A girl" One of the knights breathed out in disbelief.

"Stay on your position." Haktor barked the order and held his weapon in an attack position. "That is no ordinary girl."

The girl sighed loudly as she shook her head.

"I gave you the chance to escape and live yet you chose to die."
