I ended up thinking of how to wreak havoc in the royal capital that I forgot Sebastiene was in the room with me.
I blinked rapidly and broke into a mischievous smile. "Seb, how confident are you at breaking into a well-guarded place?"
"I can go in and out of the royal palace without breaking a sweat, my lady." Sebastiene replied, his handsome face filled with pride and confidence.
"Good!" I said with a satisfied smile.
"Should I prepare a different carriage for the young ladies to travel with to the capital?" He smiled mildly.
I pursed my lips and thought for a while.
"I will need to speak with my sisters first before deciding about it." I answered. "But I, myself, am planning to go undercover."
"I see, then I shall prepare accordingly." Sebastiene replied.
Since the invitation is a fortnight away, it would be after mother's tea party. The dresses she had ordered to be made should have arrived by then. With Uriel and Athy's taste in fashion, I doubt anyone would be wearing anything of the same designs.
There was a knock on the door and Sebastiene went to check it.
"My lady, Miss Bloom has arrived." He informed.
"Let her in." I answered and placed my cup on the table.
Miss Bloom came in. She was wearing commoner clothes and a red hood.
'Red riding hood.'
I stopped myself from laughing at what I thought.
Stupid brain.
Miss Bloom curtsied and came closer to me.
"Have a seat." I motioned at the seat in on the other side of the coffee table.
"Thank you, my lady." She replied and sat on the chair gracefully flicking the skirt of her dress.
I don't know if she purposely did it, but the way she moves has a seductive feel to it. The way she walks, the way she moves her hands, her gaze and even her smile has a hint of sexiness that only women who have lived their lives pleasing men would have.
"I have talked with the two Black Circle members that you mentioned in your message." I spoke as Sebastiene poured her a cup of tea. "They are quite strong."
"They are rank higher than Elaheh in terms of strength, my lady." She replied, her voice sounding a bit alluring but she is trying to hide it.
"You can speak freely with me, I won't mind." I told her.
Miss bloom chuckled and her entire demeanor changed.
"I doubt my lady would like how I usually am." She spoke in a very coquettish manner. Her eyes were tantalizing and her smile was sultry.
I was honestly taken aback by the change, yet Sebastiene remained unaffected.
"I suggest that Miss Bloom continue to speak formally with the young lady." Sebastiene interrupted with a kind smile. "It would not be right for her to experience such nature as Miss Bloom has. She is still young and might adopt to such nature."
I rolled my eyes at the roundabout way Sebastiene explained it.
"I agree with Sir Sebastiene, I do not plan to speak to her like that." Miss Bloom smiled apologetically. "I just wanted to show her how I normally am."
"It's fine." I shook my head lightly. "Any way Miss Bloom, I called you here for something else."
I raised my hand at Sebastiene and he gave me something that he was holding on his palm.
"Miss Bloom, please kneel and swear you loyalty to House Castellan." I turned to her and showed her what was in my hand.
The beautiful moon brooch was laid open in front of her.
Miss Bloom was stunned and the way her eyes went wide, I bet she was not expecting this. She blinked a couple times before standing up and kneeling in front of me.
"My lady, I-" She blushed and her fingers nervously clutched her skirt. "I do not know the Castellan's Oath of Loyalty."
"Just follow Sebastiene's lead." I told her and passed on the job to Sebastiene who looked like he was betrayed.
Sebastiene helped Miss Bloom with the oath and she continued to kneel.
"Miss Bloom, as a Knight of Noktis, you have the right to know who your master is." I spoke in smiled at her.
"Come, Parsua."
Parsua appeared in all her goddess glory and floated behind me as she gazed at Miss Bloom with a kind smile.
"Now, swear your loyalty to House Castellan."
Miss Bloom almost lost her balance as she bent her head down and spoke.
"I, Scarlett Natalia Umbridge, swear on the goddess of life, Parsua, to serve House Castellan with the best of my abilities and never betray them for anyone or anything. If I break my promise, may the goddess never bless me and ten future generations of my family." She swore.
I summoned Vita and tapped Miss Bloom with it.
"Rise, my knight." I ordered as I pinned the moon brooch on the dress over her heart. Parua touched the brooch and it glowed faintly before I cancelled Parsua's summon. "From today forward, your life is in my hands."
"Yes, my lady." Miss Bloom answered, her lips and hands were shaking from the experience.
"As a knight, you will be undercover, never exposing youself and your connection to House Castellan unless you need to. Understood?"
"Yes, my lady."
"You will be the general of the second information division of the Knights of Noktis." I told her. "But at the moment, only Sebastiene and I are aware of your existence. I will introduce you to the other generals soon, but for the meantime, keep a low profile. I will give you your office after we deal with Karciel."
"I understand, my lady."
I am slowly building my military power, but there are still important positions that needed to be filled. But I will slowly fill them with people I trust.
