Chapter 107 - Chapter 107

After Miss Bloom's special knighting ceremony, I had her sit in front of me again. Probably due to the shock of seeing Parsua or from being given the position of general, she gulped down three cups of tea like water. Her hands were still shaking as she stared at me with wide eyes.

"Miss Bloom," I called her attention, her shaky eyes focused on me. "I would like you to build your own team, a team you can trust with information gathering."

Miss Bloom's face went blank.

"My lady, do you mean that my entire team will be unconnected to you?" She asked as her eyes look at me with disbelief.

"Of course not." I smiled at her. "Your team will be created in a special way and will need special abilities and attitudes."

Miss Bloom's eyes was filled with confusion.

I smiled at her and explained my plan on how and where to create her own team. What the requirements were for each member as well as their positions.

Miss Bloom listened to me intently. Her face glowed at the plan I had for her.

"So you see, knights will be working for you and you will also have your own guards since you are not a fighter type." I ended my explanation and slowly sipped my tea.

"The job you are giving me, be it a general or the other, I will gladly accept them without questions." Miss Bloom replied respectfully. "I have been giving information to Sir Sebastiene for some time too, so this job would fit me perfectly."

She has been giving information to Sebastiene?

My mind was confused but my face remained calm as I placed my cup back on the table.

"Then I will be trusting you with it, general." I smiled. "Do you have any questions?"

"None, my lady." She smiled with a mature charm.

"Good." I turned to Sebastiene and smiled lazily. "Seb, take her to Athy and inform her about everything."

"Yes, my lady." Sebastiene smiled knowingly.

"My sister will speak with you about salary, benefits and everything else with regards to your hiring." I smiled at Miss Bloom who stood up and nodded.

She bowed respectfully to me before she gave Sebastiene a seductive smile and a flirtatious wink.

"Please lead the way Sir Sebastiene." She spoke in a languid tone.

They both left the room with Miss Bloom following after Sebastiene. I followed them with my eyes until they went out the door and picked up my cup.

'The tea smells nice.' I thought and continued to enjoy my tea while waiting for Sebastiene to return.

In a dark underground room, a golden haired man was sitting on a golden armchair draped with expensive silk. His deep green eyes focused on the half-naked woman dancing provocatively in the middle of the room. His elbow which leaned on the arm of the chair was supporting his head by the chin. A tempting smile was playing on his lips.

A man wearing black robes came in and quietly approached the sitting man and whispered on his ear. The handsome middle aged man raised his eyebrow slightly and started laughing, his eyes contained unbothered arrogance.

"You are telling me that the eldest daughter of House Castellan had adopted the runaway siblings?" He asked with a low chuckle. "I wonder if she knows what those two can do?"

The dark robed man bowed down and spoke again, this time, a little louder.

"It is also believed that Madam Bloom is under their wing, all the men sent to find her ends up dead in a very terrifying way."

The golden haired man's face soured at the news. Madam Bloom was an irreplaceable asset to him. If only she did not dare to touch his new woman, he would not have sent her to the whorehouse. It was already bad that she went missing after a week, but to think that she went to ally herself with the Castellans.

Karciel's eyes narrowed.

She held too much information about him that could put him in danger. She must be found.

Or silenced forever.

He was still deciding whether to kill Miss Bloom or not when the robed man spoke again.

"Dusk is also here, my lord." The man added. "Should I let him in?"

Karciel's eyes turned cold at the information and he motioned for the woman to stop dancing.

"Bring him in." He ordered.

The dark robed man went out and returned, this time an ethereal looking man followed him.

He was young, merely the age of twenty, with a body and face that women would throw themselves at. His head of pure white hair made him look even more ethereal, he could be compared to a god, except for his red eyes. His eyes that gave out his true self, only those from the demon race would have blood red eyes and pupils that was vertical instead of rounded.

The demon was draped in a black robe walked towards him with light steps. The soundless steps of a predator.

"Karciel, I heard that you caught the eyes of the Castella?" The demon, Dusk, asked with a smile that was more like looking down on Karciel.

"A little girl is nothing." He answered as the woman dancing earlier came prancing towards him. She stopped at stared at the demon dreamily.

"That little girl, is a vessel." The demon smiled mockingly. "And the people she has are far stronger than you think."

Karciel never liked this demon but he could not do anything against him. He, a human, is far inferior in both strength and ability against this demon.

"And you are here to help me?" Karciel let out a forced smile.

The demon chuckled lightly.

"I am here to offer these to you." The demon took a pouch from inside his robe and opened it to show Karciel hundreds of round pill inside. "These are pills that my master uses on his army, it will enhance the taker's powers three times than normal. I suggest you give these to your strongest men."

Karciel took the pouch, his greed bursting out of his eyes.

"Is this from master?" He asked.

"Yes. These too." The demon stared down at him and throws an envelope on his lap. Karciel opened the envelope and it was information about House Castellan and the Knights of Noktis. "Master orders you to protect the business. Do not fail or you know what will happen."

Karciel sneered inside his heart.

"Tell master not to worry."

The demon snickered before turning his back and going out the door as quietly as he entered.
