Athy opened the envelope and read the invitation letter. A cold smile slowly crept on her face. She placed the invitation back on the table and folded her hand on top.
"What do you plan?" She asked me in an expectant tone.
"Let's wait for Uriel first, she will be a key point in my plan." I smirked.
Athy nodded and continued reading the papers on her desk.
I noticed the two beside her, she must have trained them well as they made no reactions during my talk with Athy. The other maid stood near the door with her hands clasped together. Sebastiene merely smiled as usual.
Uriel arrived a few minutes later with her maids.
"Took you long enough." Athy commented sarcastically as soon as Uriel came in.
"Sorry, I was not informed of this meeting until a few moments ago." Uriel replied gracefully, not minding Athy's tone. She sat in front of me and Athy passed the letter to her.
Seeing the insignia on the envelope, Uriel's eyebrow shot up in question. She opened it and read what was inside before a bewitching smile appeared on her face.
"Did they just send an invitation for a nobles gathering to the highest ranking noble?" Uriel snickered with disgust as she threw the invitation on the table. "How much more obvious could they be?"
"More than that, are they insulting us?" Athy spoke as she leaned back on her chair.
"It seems like they have heard about the attack and about me being a vessel, but are not treating it as true." I crossed my leg and started tapping on the armchair.
"Should we go and create chaos?" Uriel smiled with a glint of mischievousness.
"Or you could go and summon Parsua in their face." Athy suggested.
"Or I can just send Sebastiene and wipe all the nobles in the capital." I smiled wickedly at Athy. "Problem solved."
The three of us chuckled.
"I suggest we decline this invitation." I looked at Sebastiene. "Seb, write a reply and state that we are still busy with family matters."
"Yes, my lady." Sebastiene bowed lightly.
"Oh! Also write father's title as well." Athy smirked. "Better remind them who they are inviting."
"Understood, third lady." Sebastiene smiled.
"Elaheh, go find out which noble houses are attending this gathering and bring me their entire background." Athy instructed the quiet maid. "Let's see how they will fair against House Castellan."
"Yes, my lady." Elaheh bowed.
Although Elaheh was new, she is still from an underground organization, the Black Circle, she should have some kind of information web.
"I will go and inform Miss Bloom about it." Elaheh added.
"….." I was not expecting that.
Seeing the somewhat awkward glance I sent her, Elaheh smiled a little.
"Lady Bloom has a wide information system that she herself created, my lady." Elaheh explained. "She would know which nobles are a regular to those kinds of gathering."
"I see." I nodded and gave her a little smile.
"So what should we do now?" Uriel asked, noticing that it was a useless meeting to her.
I smiled at her.
"Now I will continue to train how to create portals, you, sis, will go and inform father about the letter and tell him what we agreed on." I uncrossed my legs and reached for Sebastiene's offered arm to help me stand up. "I'll see the both of you at breakfast."
We went to our training room and Sebastiene was quite enthusiastic about something.
"I heard you can now travel anywhere inside the castle grounds?" Sebastiene took off his coat and placed in in his spatial room. "Should we practice going further?"
"Okay." I nodded. "I also want to make the traveling time much shorter."
"Then we should start now as breakfast will be served in an hour." Sebastiene nodded and started training me again. This time, it was much easier that the earlier ones.
We stopped training in exactly an hour like Sebastiene said and headed to breakfast. I saw father's new butler and the maids that mother have. They were very meticulous and knowledgeable with servant etiquettes.
After breakfast, I went to fathers study with Sebastiene to meet the new recruits.
"Father." I called outside his study.
The door opened and a neat looking, muscular man came to open it for me. He was around the age of forty with a stern looking face and a head full black hair. He wasn't cold nor welcoming as he greeted me perfectly before returning to father's side.
"So, you're Ragnar Ajax?" I glanced at the stoic man beside my father's desk as I unhurriedly walked towards one of the long sofas and sitting casually.
The elderly man swept his gaze across me, his expression unseen.
"Yes, I am, eldest miss." He replied standing straight.
I raised my brows slightly, my eyes turned dark as I stared coldly at the elderly butler.
"It seems that you are not aware of who you are speaking to?" I stated, my lips curled up into an annoyed smile.
Ragan Ajax's appearance was cold and solemn, but when he heard me, his expression showed confusion.
"Seb." I motioned for Sebastiene who smiled and bowed lightly. "Let him join your class with Loki. I think he need to refresh his mind with 'How to become a butler one o one.'"
"Yes, my lady." Sebastiene turned and smiled at Ajax. "Classes starts as soon as the entire Castellan family is asleep. We study at the servant's lounge."
"I understand." Ajax replied, still confused.
Father shook his head lightly and mother sighed. This Ragnar Ajax is lucky to have met me first instead of Athy. She would probably break some of his bones or make him cry before telling him his mistakes.
"Father, I am planning to hire more knights soon." I spoke.
"Okay." Father replied without even glancing at me. "Do what you want."
"What are you so busy about?" I frowned and stood up to walk closer to his desk.
"I'm signing the papers Athy sent this morning." He replied with a sigh.
"Shouldn't mother be the one taking care of that?" I tilted my head to look at mother on the other desk also busy writing.
"She is busy with her upcoming tea party." Father rolled his eyes.
I went to check what my mother had prepared and immediately pulled the paper from her table.
"Are you serious mom?" I asked in disbelief.
