Mother frowned at me and tried to take the paper from me.
"What is this?" I stared at the paper whole moving away from her. "Are you having a tea party or a ballroom party?"
"What are you talking about?" Mother huffed as she glared at me.
"These!" I motioned at the paper in my hand. "There will only be about five other ladies who are invited to your tea party, but you are planning to use the main hall?"
"So?" Mother shrugged.
I looked at her and started speaking in our language back on Earth. I explained to her how these tea parties are expected to be.
We lived as a middle class family before and tea parties are not famous in our country. My mother does not even enjoy tea!
I told her to ask Athy and Uriel about the rest she needed to know. I looked through her list again.
Guests that were invited are Countess Polit, Viscountess Rutchel, Countess Einzler, and Baroness Westfield. All have territories that borders with Westreon. One could say that they are our neighbors. These noble women were chosen by me and my sisters with care. We only invited ladies that were active in social circles and have good reputation.
"Have you finished the invitations?" I asked mother as I placed the paper back on her desk.
"Yes." Mother nodded lightly. "I just need to write the invitations."
"Okay." I nodded and looked at the new maids behind my Astrid. "Are you the daughters of Sir Ajax?"
"Yes, eldest lady." They both curtsied.
"He said he will send three of his daughters and his granddaughter." I stood in front of them. "Where are the other two?"
"My niece, Natalia, was chosen by the youngest lady to serve her. My second eldest sister, Ellianor, was chosen to become the head maid." The black haired maid replied. She was the female version of Ragnar, not only in looks but also in how he speaks, straight and expressionless.
"What are your names?" I asked the younger looking one.
"I am Elle, my lady." The younger one replied in a soft voice, unlike her two other siblings.
"I am Elise, eldest lady." The stoic one replied with a light bow.
"I am Melody, the eldest daughter." I introduced my self. "You can call me eldest lady, first lady, lady melody or just lady mel. Do not call me miss or little girl. I don't like it. Understood?"
The two ladies nodded their heads.
"I hope you enjoy your stay here and please take good care of my mother." I smiled warmly, the only time they will see me smile without any hidden motives.
"I am going back to my office." I announced. "If you need anything from me, you may approach Seb. He will, without a doubt, relay your message to me as soon as possible."
"Yes, eldest lady."
I bid my parents a good day and went out of their office.
"Seb, what about the things I asked you last night?" I asked Sebastiene as we walked through the hallway towards my office.
"I have them ready and filed, my lady." Sebastiene asnwered with a vague smile. "The files are in your desk."
"Okay." I nodded.
We walked in an unhurried pace, enjoying the view of the garden outside. It was a clear summer day, but unlike on Earth, it was not hot or humid.
We arrived in my office and I immediately saw a pile of papers neatly filed on my desk.
"Are these the reports?" I asked Sebastiene as he prepared tea for me.
"Yes, my lady." He replied glancing at me. "I prepared them based on which needs attention."
"Good." I replied and started reading the first file. It was the names and backgrounds of etiquette teachers all over the kingdom. It even has their darkest secret in it.
I stared at Sebastiene who was making tea and wondered to myself.
'Just how did he get these information in a single night?'
