Chapter 86 - Chapter 86

The wolf suddenly laughed on the ground. It did not even look like a wolf anymore, it looked more like a boar with its swollen face.

"You." He raised his head to look Athy in the eyes before asking. "You said you will not take my fang and my freedom away from me?"

"Of course." Athy answered arrogantly. "Why would I bind you to me when I have Kaido that will follow my every order?"

The wolf's mouth twitch and it tried to stand up slowly.

"Then, why did you ask me to submit?" It asked Athy.

"Like I said, I want you to serve me." Athy answered in a domineering tone.

"Why?" The wolf asked, very much confused.

"Because our house needs to be strong." Athy answered.

The wolf stared at Sebastiene.

"With someone like him here, who could destroy the entire kingdom if he wanted to, you still need more people?" He pointed at Sebastiene with his snout. "Just how strong do you want to be?

"Stronger." Athy shrugged.

The wolf's mouth twitched at Athy's answer. He looked around before his eyes locked onto me, Uriel, Haktor, Marionne, Klent and some other knights.

"You do not seem to be lacking." He said with slight mockery.

I noticed that the wolf had healed almost seventy percent of the injury it acquired during the beating.

"Does lycans have healing ability Seb?" I whispered to Sebastiene.

"It's self regeneration, my lady." Sebastiene answered. "A gift from the goddess that created them."

"Be careful, it might attack suddenly." I whispered.

"I doubt it will, my lady." Sebastiene smiled vaguely.

The wolf suddenly started glowing. It was shedding the fur on its body. Its head started growing hair while we could hear cracking and snapping sounds as its bones rearranged themselves.

The wolf had transformed into its human form which was crouching on the ground. I could see the head full of long grey hair with tinge of brown. It raised its head to look at Athy but its hair was covering the face. It slowly stood up, naked.

Sebastiene covered mine and Uriel's eyes before we could see anything we shouldn't. When he took his hand away again, I saw Klent covering Athy's eyes and his cape was used to cover the lycan. The lady knights or dames, who were with us had different reactions. Some covered their eyes, some blushing and others, like Marionne, stood there expressionless. There are not many things that could fluster the general, and a nude man was not one of those.

Klent took his hand away from Athy and apologized for covering her eyes so suddenly. Ahty just nodded to him.

The lycan approached Athy and kneeled down.

"I, Loki Tien Danahue, swear upon the moon goddess, Luna, to serve you, Athanasia Castellan, with or without the bind." He swore as he took Athy's hand and kissed it.

"You still need to take the Oath of Loyalty." Athy reminded him.

"I understand, my lady." Loki said as he stood up.

I just noticed that there were balls of light floating above us illuminating the surrounding. No wonder I could see everything clearly.

"Seb, take Loki with you and lent him some clothes, if yours doesn't fit, ask others for help." I instructed him.

"What about you, my lady?" Sebastiene asked.

"I'll go report to mother and father." I told him. "Report to me as soon as you finish."

Sebastiene bowed and spoke with Athy and the lycan.

"Marionne, Haktor, please tell the knights that they can return to what they were doing before, everything's been handled." I told the generals.

"Yes, my lady." They bowed before commanding the knights to return to their residence.

I went back to the castle with Uriel and Athy with some knights escorting us.

"What do you plan to do with that lycan Athy?" I asked her as we walked.

"No idea yet." She replied.

I frowned.

"You mean, you made him submit without thinking?" Uriel asked her.

"I am not sure yet since I do not have any idea about his skills." Athy answered with a roll of her eyes. "I have no idea what he could do in his human form."

"Then, you will position him depending on his skill?" Uriel asked.

"Yes." Athy nodded. "But one thing is for sure, he is strong."
