'What are all these people talking about?' I thought to myself as I looked at my father and pointed at my head. I was asking him if he has any memories of such things being done in the dark by the Archduke. My father gave me his most horrified look and shook his head vigorously. I look at Athy and she looked at me dryly before shaking her head.
"House Castellan did not do the things that you have accused us of." My father said said sternly.
"We saw the knights!" Someone shouted. "They were wearing the moon badge as if they were flaunting your house!"
"They took my mother and sister right in front of my father and beat him cripple!" A young man cried.
"We saw the sorcerers came in amd out of your castle!" Another shouted. "They were wearing the moon badge!"
"House Castellan does not have sorcerers amongst our ranks." my father said while putting his hand on my mother's shoulder. "I am a husband and a father of three girls, I would never let my men disrespect any women."
"That's impossible! We saw them ourselves!" One man shouted. The people looked at each other and started to discuss what happened to them. They were loudly grumbling.
"They took my daughters right in front of me! If it wasn't your knights, who else would it be?"
"My wife was raped in our house by your knights as those sorcerers took our young son. They said that he will become a sacrifice for House Castellan! Now you say you have no knowledge of it? I saw those sorcerers come in through the castle gates myself!"
"Yeah! The moon badges were seen so who else could it be? They are just washing their hands clean after all they did!" The blond knight tried to rile them up.
"I think I know who can answer all of these." Athy said in her childish cold voice. The spirit who was holding the butler, Rick, came forward and threw him on the ground in front of us. The men who saw the knight gasped loudly with their eyes wide open. The knight then came to stand behind Athy in a protective manner.
Rick scrambled to stand on his feet after being thrown down. He dusted himself and turned to look at us sharply. He suddenly laughed menacingly as if mocking us. I didn't like it and I could tell that he knows something. Asshole.
"You were so busy being stuck inside this castle protecting yourselves that you disregarded your own people. Hahahahahah." He laughed while pointing at my father. "Look at you now? You have no people that supports you, no knights loyal to you, and you are surrounded by enemies!"
"What have you done?" My father asked him coldly. "It was you who did all of this?"
"What I should do!" He replied. "I sent those knights, I hired those sorcerers, I made people see them come and go from the castle and all to make them hate you!"
"Why?" My father looked at him pitifully. "I have treated you well all these years. I have given you authority and this is what you did? Betray me? Took women and children away from their families?"
"I want your position!" Rick screamed at the top of his lungs. "When Marquis McClare defeats you, he promised me your position. I want to own your power, your wealth, your daughter! I don't care if I have borrow power from the devils below I don't care if I have to sell my soul. I. WILL. HAVE. IT. ALL! hahahhahaha."
"What did you do to the people you took?" I asked him.
"Little girl," he looked at me smilingly like a pervert, "you will know after we get married and I become the Archduke. I will use your sisters as sacrifices to summon the devil. Just wait for it. hehehehe."
"That's it." My face was black due to anger. I can never forgive this asshole. If he won't talk the easy way, then I will make him tell me everything the hard way. I looked at Athy and smirked at her. "Athy, make him talk."
"With pleasure." Athy smirked and lifted her hand. "Come forth, Kaido."
Black shadows as wide as a house swirled from the ground and started to create a pit. The people who saw it moved away, afraid of falling into it. Growling and snarling sounds can be heard and vibrations can be felt from the ground. Suddenly, a huge black paw showed itself above before a three headed dog slowly climbed up from the black pit. It was pitch black and smoke can be seen visibly coming out of its body. It was huge! Bigger than the size of a regular house. All three heads are bigger than a human. Its mouths can swallow a person whole, with teeth five times bigger than an elephant's tusks. Its tail was draging on the ground and the end was like a wrecking ball with little thorns. Saliva was flowing from its mouth and the ground burned where it touches. A Cerberus, the guard dog of the underworld.
"Now," Athy came to pet Kaido's leg, which was the highest part she could reach. "are you going to tell us where you took the women and children you kidnapped or play with Kaido? He really loves tag by the way, so don't even think about running."
Rick dropped on his butt at the sight of Kaido. His eyes were wide open and he was visibly shaking. Many of the people moved further back, ready to run in case Athy lets him loose.
"Are you going to talk or you want him to take a bite first?"Athy smiled innocently at him.
"T-they are all in the whorehouse d-down the city of Westreon." He immediately answered. "They are all kept in the underground d-dungeon."
"What were you planning to do to them?"
"Use them as s-sacrifice," He was starting to sweat badly. "so I can call upon a d-devil and make a contract."
"Who were in this with you besides Marquis McClare?" I asked.
"T-the knights, the head cook, the head maid and y-your maids in waiting." he answered scooting away slowly as Kaido sniffed near his feet. His pants slowly got wet until a pool of liquid can be seen on the ground he was sitting. He pissed himself.
"Disgusting!" Athy remarked.
I looked at the people who attacked us. They were all shocked to hear the truth. The blond knight sensing he was defeated slowly retreated backwards.
" You all heard what he said!" I shouted at the men who attacked. "Archduke Castellan did not order those raids. I hope this clears the misunderstanding between us."
