Chapter 1 - Chapter 1

"Sis.."

Who is that? Who is shouting?

"Siiiiiss!"

The loud shout from someone woke me up from my semi-sleeping state. I looked at the person in front of me thinking it was my younger sister since she is the only one who calls me 'sis' but this person is definitely not my sister. She looks way too pretty to be my sister.

The girl in front of me looks like a doll, a porcelain doll, those dolls that rich people collect. She has silver hair, almost white and big purple eyes. She has a high nose and pale lips like she was scared of something. She was wearing a pink dress and was looking at me expectantly.

"Sis."

I looked at her confused. Why is she calling me 'sis'?

"Ow!" I hissed as I felt the pain in my head. Memories of someone else was flooding in my head. Memories of a certain Melody Lyssa Castellan, the eldest daughter of house Castellan. I closed my eyes as I try to focus on the memories of this girl invading my head like watching a movie in fast forward. It made me dizzy and confused.

I opened my eyes after what felt like days of watching someone else's life pass through me. The little girl was still beside me looking at me, worry was evident in her eyes.

"Sis?" she cautiously asked.

"Sis? Ikaw na Bang? (Is that you Bang?)" I asked her in our local language.

"Oh sis, mata naka? Kadumdum kas nahitabo? ( Yes sis, are you awake? Do you remember what happened?)" she asked.

"Oh, pero hanap pa. Asa sila lai? Sila mama og papa? (Yes, but it is blurry. Where is Lai? Where are mom and dad?)" I asked looking for our youngest sister and parents.

"Ate. (Big sister.)"

I turned to look at my youngest sister. She looked to be around five years old. She has the same features as my younger, silver hair and purple eyes, sister but more child-like. She was wearing a purple dress and was sitting on my bed behind Bang.

"Natulog pa si mama og papa. (Mom and dad are still sleeping.)" Lai replied.

"Kay mata naman ta, magmeeting jud ta.(Since we are all awake, we need to have a meeting.)" Bang announced as she clapped her hands. She jumped down from the bed and pulled a fancy chair to my bedside. I sat on my bed while leaning on the headboard and Lai remained seated on the bed by my legs.

"Do we all remember what happened? The accident, the jade, the guardian and the exchange?"

"Yes, I do." I replied as I massaged my head. Bang poured some water from a glass pitcher on a bedside table and handed me the glass. I accepted it with a "Thanks sis."

Let me explain our situation to be clear. Our family is not from this world. Yes, we are from another world called earth and transmigrated into this world. We were from a small country in east Asia called the Philippines. We were on our way home from a family gathering. There were games and my mother won our great-great-grandfather's jade statue of Bathalah, an ingenious god of the old Filipono, with inscriptions written on it. My father was driving an old Pajero that he borrowed from his sister when we suddenly got hit by a truck out of nowhere. The moment the truck hit us, the statue suddenly lit up and we were blinded by the light. The moment we got to see again, we were inside a white room. I looked at my parents and they were both asleep but both of my sisters were awake. A lady suddenly came in and stood in front of us.

"Who are you?" I asked her.

"Where are we?" Bang asked.

"What happened?" Lai asked.

"I am the Guide. I am the deity resting inside the jade statue." The lady explained. "I will explain what happened and I will leave the choice to you on what you want to do after."

We sisters looked at each other and nodded.

This is something bad.
