Recap:
"WELCOME TO THE SYSTEM'S ADMINISTATION"
A message appeared and said in a sing song voice.
Ling looked at the advanced city like surroundings.
The city lay close clustered, ruddy on the plains, glittering in the clear air with its flat roofs and domes and square towers, strangely naked-seeming in the clear, clean air. The city was a vast, intricate, labyrinth of noisy, streets and alleys.
Ling's brain stutters for a moment and my eyes take in more light than I expected, every part of him goes on pause while his thoughts catch up. After a wash of cold he stepped from the shadows, feeling a new warmth to the day. As he steped into the cool, windy evening air, he catches his breath at the view. The city twinkles like a vast field of fireflies. He placed one of his hands on his chest.
"It'll be okay, it will."

"Welcome to the system administration. Go over there"
A translucent like male said pointing over to a counter where not many 'people' if you could call it that were standing.
Ling looked at the person in confusion before asking,
"What's going on?"
"Your a newbie I'm guessing. Well I hate to break it to ya, you one of the 'lucky' ones to have been chosen for this job."
Ling had a bad feeling in his gut but didn't want to confirm it to quickly. He only hoped he was wrong. He asked slowly and hesitantly,
"What job?"
"To become a system for a host. Unfortunately there was been a massive decline in people becoming system and an increase of host appearing. We urgently needed more systems for these hosts. It's been hectic. They others will explain it more. Welcome to 'Interstellar Systems'."
The male gave a tired lop sided smile, he seemed on the verge of collapsing from exhaustion. Even if he wanted to sleep he actually didn't need it since he was now only a soul, not tied to a physical body.
Ling nodded, thanking the kind and exhausted person before walking to the nearly empty que.
Soon it was his turn.
"Name?"
"Ling Wen."
The male jotted something on a piece of paper before it evaporated and became a transparent card that went inside Ling.
"Your system name for now on will be 'System XOX'. Please talk to the supervisors over there. They'll explain it. Now move along."
Ling just nodded very confuzzled before walking robotically to the large male standing off to the side with his arms crossed and a very provocative expression on his face. Ling gulped in fear. Ws he about to die a second time.
He walked over saying meekly,
"Excuse me are you the supervisor?"
His head turned to Ling who was shaking in his boots.
A bright smile soon appeared on the larger males face. He slapped Ling's back enthusiastically. Ling wanted to spray blood everywhere from how hard the impact was.
'That hurt like a basketball hitting you at full speed!'
"Nice to see some enthusiastic youths!"
"Yeah...haha...."
"Anyways since your here I'll tell you the basics! So as a system you have an obligation to help your host in his missions. If you fail then points will be deducted. When you hit 0 your would goes whoosh, away it goes.
Of course this doesn't go without it's merits. The higher your host is able to achieve your class will improve. Both you and the person you are assigned will reap benefits. SS tier is the highest class a host and system can become. Obviously the each letter has a proper name but I can't be bothered to tell you. You can only do missions your rank or one higher unless a superior gives you another type.
Also us systems must try and sell products to them, this is for the superior and for us to gain some extra points. It is in your best interest to try and help you host. As you may realise when you died you were given 3 skills that you chose as a starter gift. You'll also receive 1000 points and a lottery box!
To find a host and missions for them to do, go to the area where the tables are."
The buff pointed his finger in the distance. Ling squinted his eys to see. Over there, there were single booths.
"There is a scanner which you need to press your identity card in. You get that when you say 'Come out identity card' and you hide it by saying 'disappear identity card'."
The male demonstrated what he meant as he told Ling who nodded and tried it himself. He was amazed at how it did it. The instructor continued saying,
"Once you press that it will create a projection screen. There multiple available missions will appear, you should pick one that would be the easiest for your host. This will allow you to rack up points more quickly. But you aren't able to answer every question they ask as it may cause the world to collapse due to an extreme change in the world. Doing that could get you fired and your soul disappearing from the cycle of reincarnation.
Anyways, when we aren't needed we can relax in out host's mind to keep an eye on them or go to where we currently are. Just beyond me is the plaza and where announcements are made via speakers. Also where the projection monitors are and the shops to buy the item for your host Stealing and fighting is not prohibited, that's just common sense. Us systems have what humans usually know as 'police' here, so you better oblige to the rules. Systems also try to butter up to the higher ranking ones to get benefits but it usually doesn't work. That's about it. Any questions?"
"Uhh well do we systems only have one host?"
"Usually yes but since we are so low in systems some of us will have to switch occasionally so the host are able to start their missions. As much as 'Interstellar Systems' is always trying to maintain it's highest standard we aren't able to currently unfortunately. I don't know whether or not you'll take shifts since your a newbie and usually need to go through the training. But we have our hands so full. Well I'll explain what happens anyways.
When another host you are working with need you their will be a signal like a message appearing in front of you. It will have a 'yes' or 'no' in it. If you press yes because it's urgent you will be immediately teleported into their world. Well this is unless their are multiple of your hosts in the same world. But that's very rare to happen.
Oh yeah! Some systems occurred errors in where their host took over them and many flee scared. I hope that doesn't happen to you. I should warn you, some hosts are disguising themselves as new hosts. I shouldn't be telling you but since you seem trust worthy I'll tell ya. I am so forgetful. I forgot to say we don't only have systems here, but also creators whom make worlds for the host to go to."
"I thought you used stories from where I come from for that."
"Well yes, but there aren't enough so some have to be created. Plus the SS tier missions are all hand created by an SS tier creator! He goes by the name 'XX'. Ohh how mysterious. The highest ranking system goes by then name 'Question'~ And the most powerful host who has the strongest system calls himself 'Mysterio'. He's my favourite but that my little secret~. Anyways off ya go. Feel free to go to the help desk if you need anything else!"
The male chirp before pushing along so he could talk to another batch of newbies.
'Ain't he an enthusiastic fellow. Wish I could be like him, actually no I wouldn't want gto be like that all the time. Well now what. I'm suddenly the system like the ones from system transmigration. I don't know if I should be happy or mad. Wanting to cry or laugh at my situation.'
"Well here we go. My life as a system."
Ling off towards the help desk. Pondering what would happen from then on.
