Linzy blames herself and no one else for the death of her parents.. if she never yelled at them to leave because of her birthday the next day, she thought that they wouldn't be dead... but the unreal truth that she can't accept is that everything happens for a reason. Her parents would have died the very next day either way. Whether it's amazing or ungodly. It's the truth that Noone dares see. The police asked for her to go to the station with them after they saw her living conditions, that they think bolt found. The two seven-year-olds have been sleeping in the crushed up van, evidence from their parent's murder, and the last place that their parents were alive in. It's unreal to these children that their life changed within 24 hours. Linzy got up and looked at Bolt, he was still asleep.
"Will you please come with us, Miss. Brennar," The detective asked.
"...." Linzy responds it's hard for her to make a decision anymore as she doesn't want to hurt anyone else.
*Follow us, Miss. Brennar," The detective said as he opened up the passenger side door for Linzy.
Linzy, being the child she is follows. But something felt off. Something in the air seemed... Different. She didn't feel safe getting in the van. A police car isn't a van. No policemen have vans. She should know from how many detectives/police cars she's seen within this week. This seemed absurd to think but her heart followed before her head understood. The heart and the head, what a dangerous thing. She stepped into the van... The door behind her slammed shut and everything seemed like something out of a movie. Metal bars went down everywhere in the backseat blocking her exits, the front, the trunk, and side doors were preventing her from getting out and yelling for help. It didn't help that the windows were tinted. Screaming for help was hopeless, Noone would see or hear anything. She screamed anyway because she isn't that smart. Banging on the bars, her eyes glew bright red.
"Let me out?!!" She screamed, terrified.
"Now now," The adult said as they got into the driver's seat, "you should have known better sweetheart."
The voice seemed, familiar. The person had a cloak on in order to hide their identity from the child. Their brown short cut hair swooped to the side, and their crystal blue eyes stared into her soul from the rearview mirror. The man smiled, showing his sharp teeth like those of a shark. His red lips showed something was off, as she could have figured that out on her own. This was dangerous, obviously. She could possibly never see her brother again and that scared her more than enough to send her over the edge with tears.
Linzy is making ungodly sounds of crying.
"Can you stop CRYING!!!" The man yelled at the child.
Linzy continues to cry, as her eyes glow bright red.
"I swear to fucking God," the man cursed, "if I have to come back there!!"
She kept crying, clutching her stomach.
"You bitch!!" He suddenly slams on the breaks in the middle of ongoing traffic.
Linzy almost goes flying through the windshield but caught herself on the passenger seat. The man climbs out of the front seat and slams the door shut behind him out of frustration. He turns off the locks for a minute to get inside the van. Linzy was waiting for this to happen. She saw him open the side door and climb inside angrily. At that exact moment... It was life or death. She could escape and put her brother at risk, or die trying. The man grabs her before she could escape and pins her against the wall. Brutally assaulting her to where she cannot walk. He beat her with his bare hands. Punching her face, her arms in which you can hear a popping sound, and her stomach. She has bruises all over her, making her unable to move. Sadly, also making her unable to speak. While the man is beating her repeatedly, she notices the mans looks as his hood reveals his face. The man is none other than Benjamin, the man who helped them call 911 the day of their parents death. Her eyes turned... Grey. It seemed like she was betrayed and went into a state of mind that's unhealthy for a child her age. Chances of escape were now slim. Benjamin got out of the backseat, turning back on the locks, and then drives to the hospital with Linzy. The real question remaining is..
"why take me..." Linzy whispered to herself.
Her mouth all bloody, dripping blood. She looked like she went flying through a windshield. She was taken to the hospital as police arrived shortly after she was admitted. The police questioned Benjamin on what happened to Linzy. Upset and hurt, Linzy lays in the hospital bed overhearing the entire conversation. She hears Benjamin lying his way out of the kidnapping. Lying his way out of all the bruises and saying she fell through the windshield after he told her to put on her seatbelt. The police named Benjamin and his wife the orphan parents of Linzy and her brother. She started to have nightmares of what was to come.
all of a sudden the monitor started to flatline...
Just keep moving forward
