When you think of a 7 year old girl, you think of happy thoughts. A little girl being spoiled by her grandparents. Careless of everything going on around her. This girl would be very healthy and very much Alive. There would be no reason to suspect anything was wrong.

..This isn't how it was..

A little girl runs up the brick pavement to get to her brother standing outside of her parents house. Tackling the brother onto the grass, he smiles and laughs at the sudden surprise of his sister tackling him. The parents call for the two children to come inside for lunch. Being the 6 year old ghouls they were, they raced eachother inside. They then sat down at the dining room table for lunch with their parents.

"Linzy, Bolt.. we have to go away for a few days," the mother explained.

The fustrated little girl got up and whined, "what about our birthday mommy!"

"Sorry sweetheart but we have a business meeting that we cannot skip," the mother explained. "If we could have, we would of."

The little girl huffed and sat in her chair, upset that they would have to spend a birthday alone at the house once more.

"You guys are going to go over a friends house for the weekend," the mother explained as she sighed.

The father said before the mother could continue, "Be on your best behavior for them kiddo's."

The two children nodded in response to the directions they were given.

"Get packing tonight and we will drop you two off at their house in the morning kiddo's," the dad said.

Bolt and Linzy got out of their chairs and raced to their room in the back of the house.

The walls were cut into two colors, pink and green. Pink was for the parents cupcake; Linzy. Green was for their sporty son; Bolt.

Linzy ran to their bunk bed, leaping into the air, her kagune caught the roof and then released her when she was in the air. Flopping her down onto her bed she laughed, it's the small things that matter to her.

Bolt on the other hand just crawled into his bed, upset about the news they received at the dining room table, but he Will stay tough for his sister.

"How are you doing linzy?"

There was no reply, she didn't want to talk..but she sighed and replied.

"I'm upset Bolty..."

"I know linzy," he mumbled, "me too.."

"goodnight bolt..."

"Goodnight Linz"

The next morning came along and the two children were awaken from their slumber on their birthday. The parents had already packed the kids when they fell asleep the night before, all that was needed now was for them to get to the friends house.

They wouldn't make it

The blue van drove the family across an intersection, the parents seemed panicked. The kids thought of many things, but none would prepare them for what was to come next. The car was slung into the air, as it made it's way into an abandoned ally in Tokyo; the children's home town. The parents used their kagune to save themselves, as they thought they caught the children, this wasn't the case. Linzy was dragged out of the van mid air over to a man in a black suit and black shades. Bolt was consious and hiding under the van.

The parents, Grace and Jack Brennar, got out of the ruins of the van and saw their daughter in the grasp of a familiar man. They scrambled to their feet, smelling bolt nearby, sensing he was safe.

"Don't take another step Grace & Jack," the man said in reply to their scrambling.

"Please just let her go!"

In the midst of this fight for linzy to be freed, linzy is upset, she's terrified of her life as these men don't smell friendly. Her parents aren't giving their daughter the impression that she's safe, more that she's in danger.

"One answer, you know the drill if you dare to risk it"

They knew exactly what to do as their work specialized in this. Kidnapping and bribing.

"5,000 to let my daughter go," Grace said without a second thought.

The man laughed maniacally, "I don't want your money."

Then what did he want? Papers? Love? A home?

"I want to trade you a life for 2 lives," the man replied.

You would think he would be joking at such a manner, but thus he was not. He was confident with his answer enough to tell them that he wasn't lying.

"Y-you got to be kidding me!"

"I am not Mr.Brennar," the man replied sternly.

"Deal or no deal."

The wife and Father stare at their daughter, Grace mumbled a phase to Linzy before they were both impaled by a stake to the heart. Their bodies were cut in half in an instant. Linzy was dropped to the floor, she watched in horror as tears fell down her rosey red cheeks.

The mother and father were torn limb by limb, blood splattered everywhere, covering the brick walls of the Ally , and the clothes of the daughter.

"You are not Alone"

This phrase would stick with her the rest of her life.. the last words of her mother.. not to be spoke but heard loud enough to touch a million hearts.

Linzy collapsed to the floor, the men had left with no evidence of their scents nor the car, nothing was left behind besides the two decapitated bodies that the daughter and son called "mom and dad..."
