"Ugh... that hurt", I groan loudly slowly pushing myself to my feet. "Remind me to never go diving off a flight of stair again please."
I then slowly take a look around and can't help but rub my eyes. Actually no, I refuse to believe what I'm seeing. This has to be a hallucination right?
The sudden interior of my motel has before my eyes disappeared and was replaced with what look like a cliche western fantasy market. The market is flourishing with humans and Demi humans with stalls and customers rolling in and out. I can even smell some of the stuff on display too.
"Wait I can smell things?" I question aloud. Quickly alert I punch myself in the gut. "I can also feel pain." I wheeze out.
But now that I think about it. My clothes don't fit with what I was wearing. I can only describe it as a black and orange tracksuit which is giving me a sickening sense of nostalgia.
"Braiden stick close to me, that man has a scary face." A mother tells her son as she passes me. This is good, I can at least understand the language of this world.
I then walk around and look for anything I can read. "Damn it, I'm going to have to study." I curse as I can't read what is in front of me.
.....
After a few more hours of going around and questioning a few people along the way. I found myself a alleyway and sat down to think about my current situation.
"So I'm currently in a city which is called Lugnica."
"I suddenly have a grocery bag of stuff I don't remember buying, a shoddy flip phone, and a black and orange tracksuit."
"Clearly this is either a extremely lucid dream, or I have been what I can only imagined as transmigrated." I've already realized that this body is not mine. "And it's an extremely pitiful body as well!"
While I'm at it I might as well look to see if my face changed too. I've seen a couple of people looking at me wrong and I'm honestly terrified.
"Like what if I'm ugly?"
I then lean my head over a rain puddle I found in this ally and can't help but blink.
"Are you serious?"
I look again.
"Please tell me this is a joke."
