Chapter 5 - Deleted

Seo Yoonwoo gasped for his breath as his knees weakened. Almost stumbled to the floor if not for the support of the night table.

"What… was that? Why am I getting all of those dream?" He muttered confusedly to himself.

'I… need to go there, but damn it. How would I know where they are?' Yoonwoo cursed in his head. He clutched his fist into a ball as he glanced at the window.

RUMBLE! RUMBLE!

The clouds roared with thunders and lighting, as the rain pitter-pattered on Seo Yoonwoo's window. He stared at it for quite a while. His heart beats rapidly, almost suffocating him.

"Ack! Ah, haaah haah… aacck!" He struggled to breath, resulted him to fall on to the floor. "I… I… can't—"

< "No… no, no, no. Noooo! ******!!" The man in korean blue traditional dress yelled on the top of his lungs. He wept as he tried to break free from those who was holding him back. >

"Wh-what? What are these?" Yoonwoo pondered, as he saw the same scene in his mind again. Voices ringing through his head.

It was no doubt that, it was the same vision he saw in his dream when he woke up. Then again, his heart throbbed even more painfully than earlier.

"Accckkk!! Fuck… Haaah, haah… coughs, coughs." He coughed, as his forehead creased and nose crinkled.

And just when Yoonwoo started to breath comfortably again, another vision flashed through his mind. He curled— his body still laying on the cold surface of the floor.

< When he got up on his feet, the man with a blurred face snatched the sword of the nearest caught off guarded soldier. As soon as he unsheathed it, he turned around and slashed the neck of the two soldiers from his back. And when he turned around, an attacked surprised him.

"Ahh!" He groaned and staggered when the sword carved through his skin. The man in blue clothing advanced, as he plunged his sword into the soldier's abdomen. The soldier coughed blood, falling to the ground lifeless.

The man rushed to the lady, who's covered with her own blood laying on the ground. Pierced with numerous arrows on her body, she's nearing her death. The lady opened her eyes and spoke in a muted tone, "You… should… live on..." The lady stammered and coughed blood.

Her eyes getting more and more drowsy, her body getting weaker and weaker, "…live on, and remember—" >

'Ahhhh… it's gone now and the pain, it's slowly mitigating. But I still feel so weak, that my body won't budge even a bit.' He groaned as he lay on his back, feeling the coldness of the floor. He gasped for his breath, his sweat trailing down to the floor.

"Maybe… maybe, I just…" Yoonwoo faltered as his vison started to get blur. "…just need to sleep… a little more. Haaah…" He murmured as his eyelids felt heavier.

Just then a smile flashed once again to his mind, "Taejoo…" A sweet voice of a woman whispered. A stranger's smile but a familiar sense of longing rushed through him.

He tried to reach the image of the woman into the thin air. He reached and reached, trying to grasped the picture of the woman in his mind, but only the dull air in his room would answer to his touch. Then Yoonwoo realized and stopped, "I… must've been out of my mind."

He closed his eyes and sighed, slowly drifting to sleep.

VRRRRR… VRRRRR… VRRRRR…

Woken up by the sound of a vibration, Seo Yoonwoo caressed his forehead before opening his eyes. Adjusting with the brightness of his room, he blinked several times.

"What? What time is it? Argh…" He asked his self with a raspy voice, as he roamed his room with his eyes.

VRRRR VRRRR… VRRRR VRRRR….

The vibration continued on. Seo Yoonwoo searched where that vibration is coming from, then his eyes widened, "My phone!"

He rushed to get his phone and answered the incoming call;

["What took you so long to answer the phone?"] Asked the lady from the other line.

"I—I, just woke up. I'm sorry." He said as an excuse. Not that it was a lie.

["Why did you not answer my calls after the first one got cut off? Do you know how worried I was?"] She exclaimed.

"What hospital?" Yoonwoo asked in a plain voice.

[Hey, Seo Yoonwoo! Aren't you being rude?"]

"I asked, what hospital?" His grip on the phone tightening.

A deep heavy sigh was heard from the other line, ["We are at NSG Hospital."]

"I'll be there..." Just when he was about to hung up, the lady spoke.

["Just… Just made up with them, Yoonwoo. They're not getting any younger."]

Yoonwoo did not utter a word after hearing it. He was breathless and speechless at the moment. His eyebrows drew a line.

"I'm hanging up." Then he pushed the end call button.

TOOOOOT…

Yoonwoo looked outside the window. A bitter half-smile crept up to his lips, "Look at that sight, it's like a storm didn't even come past yesterday night, hahaha. How peaceful…" He paused as he fixed his gaze at his bare feet.

"Peaceful life, huh? I wonder how good it would be." Yoonwoo muttered along his deep sighs. "I should take a bath before going there first."

Meanwhile…

"Yoonwoo…" It was the lady from the other line. She stared at her phone.

"Is your younger brother will come?" Asked the woman in her mid-40's, who's laying on the hospital bed.

"Yes, he will. But mom, why do you have to do this to Yoonwoo? He's all grown up." The lady who resembles Yoonwoo inquired.

"Shut up Heejung, and just tell him to get here immediately." Their mother hissed.

"How petty to use some old trick. Pretending to be involved with a car accident." Heejung whispered to herself, as she left her mom.

"Heejung! Heejung! Come back here!" The voice of their shouting mom subsided as she closed the door. And when she turned around to take her leave, she bumped into someone.

"I'M SORRY!" They apologized in sync. "Oh. Really, I'm so sorry." In sync once again, and they both laughed.

"Hahaha, we were quite in sync, aren't we? My name is Heejung." Heejung extended her hand.

"Yeah, I think we pretty much are, hahaha. Mine's Ye Beom. Hwang Ye Beom." Then they shake their hands.

"It's nice to meet you, Ye Beom." Heejung grinned widely.

'For some reason… I feel, comfortable with her.' Heejung's eyes smiled too, along her thought.
